Well everyone, here it is. The end to the series, and you're getting a good number of potential endings depending on your choices.

Retrospectively? This was a fun book to write. I enjoyed it immensely, though it wasn't much of a litrpg. I still need to figure out how to do that in this format, but I hope you all still enjoyed the read.

With this book finally finished, that means we'll be moving on to the next one in November, so I hope you're all looking forward to adventurer school's final exam of resisting monster girls! I have a bunch of fun idea I'm looking to explore in there.

For now though, please enjoy the end of this story, and if you see any problems, dead links, or so forth, let me know so I can fix them.

Enjoy!

For what was technically a victory lap in-universe, that was quite a climax with an impressive amount of branching, and even a chance to really fumble at the finish line. I was a little surprised and amused that agreeing to Desmoa's deal didn't lock the protagonist into anything in case he decided to take a handshake and a booty call over a fight for his life. Granted, you could make the argument that a diabolic contract or some kind of infernal binding magic would have tipped even Asteria off. Also that might have been tricky to implement given the constraints of kindle. Either way, that was definitely one of the more unique bad endings I've found in your books, so hats off there! Speaking of which, the LitRPG angle is an interesting, since you brought it up. Pulling it off without creating a whole game system out of it might be tricky, though I've seen some examples from the Fighting Fantasy series of how it could be attempted. I believe those used a mixture of basic stats, die rolls, and a "If you found the Plot Item, turn to page X for this encounter, to use it,". Some balancing would be required, the branching would have to take fails into account to be interesting, and it ultimately comes down to the reader's honor system or preference on engaging with it, but it's a concept, at least?

Thanks! I'm so glad you liked it. By litrpg, I meant more like the stats are in the story itself rather than a Fighting Fantasy thing, though I did enjoy those books a lot. I could have done that better, but am still happy with how it all turned out.

Right, derp on my end. Not quite as daunting as...all that, but still a bit tricky in a choose your own adventure style book. I suppose you could get away with some generic or broad level ups, and maybe use the handful of encounters with one or two ways of winning as a bottleneck for specific, build-defining developments? But I'm just thinking out loud at this point. It was a wonderful read and I'm glad you enjoyed writing it ^^.
