Am so in love with what you're doing ... I would say that drag is a performance and exploration of gender that is meant to challenge and exaggerate social norms. It's heavily associated with and celebrates queerness. Blackface, however, comes from a place of derision and contempt for the "other," portraying Black persons as less than human.
