Now for those who may not remember, in the Dragon Ball Super ANIME (Not the Manga) - It was once said, during Episode 55, that the Grand Priest was ONE of the FIVE strongest, wielding a power so great that not even Whis can touch him - I was the first person to EVER introduce a one-off special in 2019 involving this concept with the Top 5 and then later brought it back into a series in 2022. In the mainline source for Dragon Ball Super (and this is a fact) - NOBODY is above The Omni Kings and NOBODY is seemingly above the Grand Priest in power. NOBODY. So in case you are wondering if the Grand Priest can "ever be beaten" - based on official statements FROM the creators of Dragon Ball, he cannot. So this is just a little reminder of the scary power behind the Grand Priest! This is why he should always remain seemingly untouchable.

No doubt about it that the GP has an Apex Omni Tier power level even though in his state as we know him he’ll still be untouchable he will still have something relating back to the merno arc even the omni kings have an apex power level as mentioned by Alex in his story this will no doubt be true in the canon DB series.

Well budo akuma and yosh are slightly below them tekria can fight equal or beat them sense goku has his angel form goku is on the same level as angels or maybe higher we will never know

The 12 angel attendees are linked the their Gods of Destruction and are likely not calculated into the "strongest" in the multiverse because they are always busy. I.e., Babysitting Beerus while he naps for 3000 years

I think by Goku becoming an angel means the Grand Priest won't sentence him to death when the GP smokes him. Or maybe Goku contends with the GP until he decides to use his "Supreme Fighting Form". Merno beat the GP until GP grew tired of it, just saying

Yes vegeta probably can probably match his primal form but his angels form he probably can’t even touch goku has a power of angels and maybe higher then them but that not the point of the story they choose different paths it doesn’t matter who stronger or not is them achieving there goals working for it

Agree I said the same thing they're from past this one for Goku is perfect for him the form for Vegeta is perfect for him couldn't imagine a a angel form for Vegeta and a God of destruction form for Goku and just wouldn't look right

The manga never said that the Grand Priest was the number 1 most powerful fighter in the Multiverse, in fact, I thought he might be the 5th strongest, which would have been interesting for further story development. It just wouldn't make sense for Goku to be in the top 5 strongest amongst the multiverse at least, not right now with the current training he has.Goku doesn't have the life span for it. When you're dealing with mortality, and immortality, a being that can live forever, there could literally be beings that are millions or even billions of years old and that's just the start. I haven't went to Centillion, which would open up a new world in itself. I should write a manga. If I did, it would literally be a world in itself. I would literally be writing a book!

Agreed with Jess here - in the manga, there ARE NO "top 5" its just him. In the anime, he is said to have ONE of THE five highest battle powers in the multiverse (positioning himself assumingly as number 1 with 4 possible others, whom are probably angels, behind him)

It never said he was number 1. If he was number 1. Whis would have simply said, he's the strongest in the Multiverse, instead he said he's amongst the top 5. Any thing else is speculation. I watch enough DBS. It's literally on DBS episode 55

Yes it does bro - in the manga, there are no five. The GP is the only one outside of the Omni Kings who is THE strongest whereas in the anime, he is spoken as one of five - I could show you the manga panels tmw too if you want to see. I’m not sure what you’re argument here is bro. Name someone objectively stronger then the Grand Priest who isn’t Zeno
