Xaither

Bit of an old track but how did you get that clean bitcrush sound in the second drop of your madeon - imperium flip?

Xaither

What are your go to’s in terms of recommended sample or plugin for your production style?

Sam snyder

I understand it can always be different, but what would you say is your approach to starting a song? Do you open the DAW with the idea in mind or do you open the DAW with the intention of just being creative and see where it goes? I just signed up a few weeks ago and it was a year too late. It has been amazing being apart of this community. YOU ARE A LEGEND

SILNT Music

Have you ever released a track with OTT on the master and what’s your opinion on it?

SILNT Music

How do you go about doing orchestration in a track?

Blue Violet2

Your worst vocal stems and how you cleaned them

AXIDNT

Least fav song u have released? And one you wish you could change

Christian

Recommendations on how to submit to record labels and promote tracks? We don’t want to spam people lol

AEROHAPTIC

Do you do separate sounddesign sessions? And how do you structure them in terms of process and saving for later projects?

KAUZII

What do you think of artists like CRANKDAT or Ray Volpe minimally mixing their songs? Ray Volpe says he rarely uses an EQ and gets away with loud and full mixes which is pretty cool. Just wanted to know your opinion if minimalism is the way to go nowadays.

Phil

What's your mental model to solve for melodic dubstep layering? More specifically, with leads, some stacks of saws, bass, pads, what's your usual solution to make sure all the elements are doing their things (lead are powerful, saws are supporting with good width)? I joined recently and many of the videos are definitely helpful. You did amazing videos with depth yet basic/important details that a lot other producers missed, so THANK YOU!

Seaquel

What are some ways that you keep the creative spark alive outside of music? Who are some other music producers that you look to for inspiration? Any recommended books/podcasts? What are some of your personal goals going into 2025?

JR

Any good resources to learn more about mastering heavy genres like midtempo or drum and bass? I saw your mixing midtempo video which helped a lot and I use spectrum all the time now to balance the kick and snare. But I still sometimes have a hard time getting tracks to reach a competitive level of loudness.

Jerr

in the 8 years I've been an artist releasing music I was asked for the first time yesterday "Why do you make music?" and it brought me so much joy to be asked this so I'd like ask the same. Why do you make music? I do apologize if this has been asked or explained, I'm new here!

Benjamin Rhodes

What is the usual creative process for a song for you? If you were starting today making music how would you learn? What is the best way to make a bootleg track?

Seaquel

Are there any differences in your workflow/approach to producing midtemp vs. melodic bass vs. dnb?

JR

Yo JP thought of another question just now if there are more you might get to…over my production journey there have been a lot of low points where I question if I want to continue with music. Its often where I feel like I’m at a skill plateau and not progressing. Just curious if you ever encounter this feeling and how do you deal with it?

RENN

Hey JP! What's a good brand in your words and how would you describe yours? Why do you think it connects with people?
