Obviously, I already have an answer to this question, but I'm curious what the readership thinks will happen, or want to happen.

So let me know what you want to happen to Dove going forward!

#1 for me #5 after that, his summoner abilities always seemed past and present the 2nd most important thing to him. after all he looked at yor anew seeing a glimpse of the knowledge hed like to study, for that moment, lust wasnt on his mind which i think has only happened for around 2 or 3 other moments in the entire story, he almost lost himself to that feeling when he wants to help tyron as much possible. he might like having that life helping tyron for a little while longer. ofc not likely for eternity beyond 100 yrs, hell also have the choice to end himself any moment he feels like it since hell have 99% autonomy.

even if he kept his lvl he was at around 40 if i remember right, i think tyron would have a long to go b4 giving him full lich capability and retain 100% of his power would likely depend on tyrons power and how close he is to doves lvl. so although i wish for #1 i think it should b a bunch of chapters from now when hes actually ready in lvls, skills/spells and experience to make many lichs if he had many mages bodies and souls.

ya hes shown interest in studying magic to an obsessive degree, he said himself "cant get lost in self absorption, i gotta help the kid as much as possible." he seems to b in a constant back and forth for lust and love of magic. give him his own body and most of his power back and hell say goddess can wait, "mayb i can find a way to feel and dick around again too."

Personally, I hope Tyron makes his parents undead as it would give them the freedom from the magistrates and the family could live happily ever after again

A Lich with original dimensional realm summons and new dark affinity realm summons. Contracts to be soul-bound to the summoner. If summoner soul don’t die, summons won’t die either. (Can re summon with mana)

OrigamiKnife

I would like Tyron to discuss the Lichdom ritual with Dove and offer him the transformation.

RinoZ is saying “obviously” but is it possible they don’t know and is trying to be unpredictable?!?!?!!!

I hope that he finds out a way to break/remove the brands that bind them using his Anathema subclass instead

Stories benefit a lot from the protagonist having someone to talk to. It seems like dove should stick around for that reason if nothing else. He's been more fun/relevant than yor so far, so if he dies it seems like the story would badly want a replacement for dove.

Emerson Fortier

What if he turned into some kind of interface for a bunch of the bony boys instead? Then he can run around on his own missions as needed, and slowly go mad while Tyron ignores his repeated requests for death.

Runaway_Cactuar

I'm surprised so few of us like him just the way he is (although preferably on a staff). This story is about Ty becoming a badass necromancer against all odds, and having Dove, who is more capable and experienced Slayer, would take away the narrative tension of that plotline. No, plucky foul-mouthed sidekick/consigliere is just perfect for him.

Yeah, right now Dove wants to die cuz he doesn't see a way forward. If Tyron offered him a way to be able to grow stronger, Dove would jump on it immediately. He's 100% addicted to the rush, he showed it multiple times. Also, I think Tyron would find a few neat projects using mind magic to help Dove - like recreating his sense of touch, smell, and taste - all of these are just sensations of the mind, and with mind magic, Tyron would be able to either create a spell Dove can cast himself, or enchant something for Dove with the same function. It would also be valuable practice with mind magic for Tyron, something he very much needs.

I very much doubt he would be able to retain his level from before his death upon his revival. Him being weaker than Tyron is a given, but I think people just like him both as a character and a person, and having him be depressed and unable to do anything is depressing. I'd love for him to get some independence but still stay and help Tyron.

RinoZ, I swear to god, if you permanently kill Dove, I will unsubscribe from the Patreon. I will read the rest on RR, but not here.

Eadinize

If dove becomes a lich Tyrone would have to have a way to garuentee control over him but even after that dove should reserve the right to off himself at any point the skull decides

Alex Nimmer

I like the idea of dove dying, it adds some personal weight to a grim series and give some character growth opportunity for Tyrone. I like Dove but he kind of has one thing. If you’re going to off a character it’s better to do it when the readers care.

Brantley Brown

It’s been mentioned multiple times that Dove feels himself losing what makes him human, I say let him make the choice. If he goes Lich….. possibly dying slowly through losing himself while still being there physically
