cute :3 your anatomy is always so wonderful, do you offer any teaching through your discord? And thx for all the wonderful art, you are very encouraging for me to keep practicing!

Frogzone

Thank you so much!! I'm not a teacher and definitely not an expert when it comes to anatomy but I'm always happy to help and give feedback! We're all on the same journey and it makes me really happy to hear I inspire other people to draw :D There are the art share and discussion (sfw and nsfw) channels on the discord, this will be the best place to ask any questions and I'll try my best to answer them

Thanks for the reply! I've been following your art for a while now and I'll definitley hop on the discord for some help. I did try tor reverse engineer your files and I noticed your layering is a little bit beyond me at this point, would you mind explaining a bit of your process, especially the effects of the screen and difference layers you use? I really want to learn to draw at your level

Frogzone

No problem! Yes my workfiles are quite messy, sorry about that... the layer structure isn't that crucial, there are many ways of setting up your file in a way that makes sense for the illustration and your personal preference. I like using lots of layers because it's easier to mask each section separately. If you're also learning to draw at the same time though, I'd suggest keeping it simple and not worrying too much about what all the layer modes etc do because drawing and digital illustration making are almost separate skills. Illustrations always start as small black and white sketches (either in my irl sketchbook or on a single layer digitally) This is where the idea, composition, pose, and anatomy is figured out. Only after this stage looks good I start working on the final workfile. Anyway there's a lot more to say but discord might be better for typing it all out so don't hesitate to reach out!
