We're back in the Dimwood with more Uprooted shenanigans! The only thing that could make tonight better is if you joined in the fun and asked us some questions and left your comments for us to enjoy during breaks! Leave those questions and comments below and we will see you tonight in the Dimwood at 7:30 pm ET!

I'm listening to the midnight carnival one shot rn. Derick was your character from that one shot an inspiration for Bitsey?

RobertTDL

What's hazel's favorite nut?

Laura H.

Who would win in a fight, the uprooted team on drugs with guns vs all the other playable characters in avantris campaigns teamed up power rangers style?

DuskBringer

Will you guys ever post the vod for the PAX stream you did last year? I never got to watch it as I didn't know it existed until after it was gone from twitch. I thought it would've been posted since you put out shorts for it, but I never saw it come up on the sheets or YouTube :/

ComicBrook

So glad to have you all back! It may have felt like a long break to us viewers but you were all working hard and I can’t wait to see the final product! What has been the most difficult part of creating the cooked moon? What has been the best part?

DunceMars

what are the characters favorite flowers

DuskBringer

Also, do we know if there are any plans for the deer to be encountered in the campaign?

Misha Writer

If your character was going to go to jail for a crime, what is it most likely to be?

Leo Baca

I just joined the patreon and I can't remember hearing anything about this. Will Hazel be coming back at all?

Cobalt Bluewaters

If your characters were folk horror monsters or cryptids, what would they be and what would they do?

Keith Hanson

New Patron here! Although I started enjoying your shenanigans last year. Sorry I'm late to the Patreon Party but I'm all caught up on Icebound and Uprooted. And I'm currently on episode 20 of Edge of Midnight. I love all your character work and your chemistry is fantastic. But enough flattery, I have a question: Do you create your characters from the top down or the bottom up?

Roxanne Hennessy

if you character could be any other woodland critter what kind would it be?

SorenSilverblade

If your Uprooted characters were to each move to a Druskenvald Province and live there, where would they want to live?

Aidan | Xxxpresso

Delighted to see uprooted back! Mikey how excited are you to be back in the DM chair after so long?

LilChestnut14

What kind of music genre would your characters pick? ╰(*°▽°*)╯

SorenSilverblade

I do not believe so. Kelsey is too busy to commit to a weekly campaign, so far as we know.

Daniel Lara

If one of your uprooted characters would be in the movies, what would they be and starred in?

Mushroom_Fay🍄

Hey everyone happy new year!!! How would each of the Uprooted characters spend new year's eve and new year's day? Hope everyone's doing well.

Lola

Came here to say this, you beat me to it!

Lola

If they were part of our society, how long do you reckon it would take for them to get arrested?

Ducky

Just got the crooked moon hardcover book! Very excited once it comes in, hope everyone is doing alright!! For everyone's uprooted character's; If they could meet any of your other characters, who would they get along with the most?

Lunar

We all know what beauregard' s studio apartment looks like, but what would each of the each uprooted character's studio apartment look like(aesthetically, would It be clean/ messy) love you guys very excited for the new episodes❣️

Derek Thorn

What has been your favorite part of the campaign so far?

ownhill

How does it feel to be back in Dimwood?

Coyote

Question about Esher from COS to BDW. Mikey, how did you decide to utilize him for BDW? It did not appear that he was an NPC for that campaign until after COS ended. What was it like adapting him to suit your story line?

Derek Thorn

How often are the campaign video playlists updated on YouTube? Episode 31 is missing from the icebound playlist. Only asking for people who are checking up on icebound

PoeZest

This made me legit laugh out loud. I think Bitsy may qualify for a Rule 20 (doesn't understand/comprehend consequences to actions)

MrNeb

If/when you end this campaign you think you'll go for a Seinfeld ending where the honorable Hootie D. Blowfish sentences then to jail time?

TheKrakenWithin

Mikey influenced me into getting Squishables, so I'm curious how many of you have them? What are your favorites? (Also, I named my Llamacorn Skyr to pay dairy product homage to Cream Cheese, and Mikey's eating habits during several episodes of Icebound.)

PaloMeme

What’s the Dimwood equivalent to The Local Cheese?

Milli Hopkinson

What were y'all's reactions to the Gryla/Red One fan reactions on twitter??

ZandOtherThings

If you could do an “Oops all (blank)” one shot (like all NPCs, all monk pcs, all lizard folk) what would you run?

aviantaco

What did peggy take in college?

Sblibbo

In the reality of the Dimwood, what are some of the "old timer" games that might be commonly played by the older denizens of the forest? e.g. games like chess, checkers, bridge, rummy, whist, dominoes, etc.

liam bialke

Was there any specific inspirations behind your characters traits/voices?

TheMadTrickster

Hello everyone, I have been a lurker for sometime and decided to finally try and leave a comment here. I want to say you all make fantastic stories and characters. It has been a joy to find and watch you all. I've been trying to catch up with all your other games and just recently caught up with Beneath Dark Wings and almost with Shroud Over Saltmarsh leaving only Prime. I hope you are all doing well and best wishes for 2025. Also, a question for the Dimwood crew, if they could drive a car what kind would they get and how poorly would it go?

Stardust678

Question for Andy Derek and Mace. I was wondering what talls favorite redwall books were as you mentioned the series on the new years stream

Stardust678

How long would the uprooted crew last in the other campaigns?

Idowhatiwant2010

I was watching the official DnD "2024 Everything you need to know Monster Manual" video and it looks like The Princess of Wrath has a cameo in it, time stamp 7:14. Ngl it looks like they took some inspiration from Icebound for that piece.

liam bialke

What has been your favorite campaign to play as a group? Funniest moments you've had or just overall vibes

Tumblekitten

Which other campaign/setting do you think that the Uprooted crew could do the best at? (Presumably the power of ridiculousness stands for something)

Bryoni Rose

Would you guys consider still doing all day/ gaming streams earlier on in the day so us British can catch live content in the future ❤️

SweetMochaPaws

The music for the crooked moon is amazing!! Are you guys planning on releasing all the character songs before the crooked moon release? Who’s gonna be up next if so?

Nataly Fernandes

Hi! Have you ever noticed that another media character resembles one of your own, AFTER you've already created them? This question came upon me after watching the Cuphead series and noticing many similarities between Kremy and Mr. King Dice.

Jam

Question for mikey! Skrimm at one point says that he grew up in a hoard of goblins because goblins have many many children in litters, does this mean that goblins later evolved in avantris to have less kids or Gricko is a rare case of an only child goblin?

Mc_Whitty

What artist would you want to make animations for your shorts.

Elina

Which one of your characters or alternatively, which one of yourselves would be the best final girl in a slasher film?

SulakAlNanna

I always hear you talk about grandma's pie, which is a thicker, sicilian style crust.. but what is actually on grandma's pie?

LoptTheCold

Question for everybody. What was the most impactful insight you gained about the difference between being creative as a hobby and being as a career wall creating The Crooked Moon? Also so happy to be seeing you goobers playing D&D again.

PixelCat

May be a weird question but i wondered if you ever felt like there are some jokes/bits you wouldn't do if there where none of the Ladies at the table.

Bovinari Csubak

I remember Richie mentioning he wanted to see animations of some scenes from the end of CoS; I wanted to maybe do this and would like to know what scene he was thinking of if there was one in particular?

cube-cumb3r

I really enjoy the yuletide streams with all my favorites including the very marketable Bitsy and Chuckles but after watching the video with you guys and Matthew Lillard I've gained an unquenchable thirst for even more crazy party combinations of crossovers... (Skrimm and Frost in fhe same room??? Hazel and Gideon?? mind=blown) I suspect not every character is equally well-suited for a non-canon crossover one-shot, but are there any plans of any buck wild crossover streams featuring party combinations beyond our wildest imaginations? Asking for a friend, of course.

GothBakerMil

It's not a specific flavor, it's a style of cooking. It's usually a thicker square or rectangle pan cooked pizza. Like Brooklyn style, Neapolitan, Chicago, etc

Atty D. Batty

Hey! I'm new to being caught up with streams on this channel and wanted to ask what the average timeline is for posting the finished streams to platforms like patreon and YouTube is? One day I hope to have a schedule to watch streams live bc y'all are so wholesome and hilarious. Thank you!

Alysandra

I have watch almost all of your campaigns. Finishing icebound then wil do Edge of midnight and then im done. i started with prime. However is there a way that i should have watched them? (time line wise) i am going to rewatch all of them at work lol. I am addicted to the laughs. Second question: THE HAIR. (Mikey Nikki Rich Andi) What do you use? My hair is destroyed with this months new shampoo so need help to revive it. Comment: I love you guys. You are therapy for my over worked brain. THANK YOU for everything you do. I am so excited to get the Kickstarter. i am getting both collector n regular book. Thank you again for all the laughs and spit takes ive done watching you guys.

GothBakerMil

What are your uprooted characters favorite meal?

GothBakerMil

Oops all clowns, plus Gideon 🤡🤡👹🤡🤡

Keelay42

February 1st is Beef Butter's second birthday! Any plans to celebrate?

Port of the Unknown

What would you and your characters death row last meal be?

CloeyZoey

In honor of Bitsy acquiring the one ring and the fact I finally watched LOTR for the first time last week, which Avantris character would be which LOTR character?

Evan L

How quickly would Jean Claude be disbarred if he were a real lawyer?

Evan L

If you ever create a flavor of any kind of drink, please name it beezleberry for Mace lol

KBOOM-MAN-64

If you were to make a hilariously, bad live action what actors would you pick? Like Sam Elliot as bitsy

Lilmafia09

Andy, can you believe that the Torbek plushie is sold out before the others?

Joules

Can you give us more insight into your character's thoughts/feelings during certain moments? Like, how Booker seemed terrified when Grumley was hurt?

Joules

Also, great to have you back!!💕💕

BreezyCG

Have any of you listened to The Magnus Archives or Malevolent? I just started to listening to podcast and I’m on my 10th re-listen for both of them.

JJwedabest

Where is episode 8? I don't see it here?

LonggerGaming o

Would you guys every make uprooted plushies? I know people would go crazy for it and I would genuinely buy the full set immediately. I'm begging you all, I would die for a Bitsy Plush.

Clone Andy

Not a question, but a suggestion…. You guys have tuned me into many great pieces of art. Let me do the same. Check out William Bells “I Forgot to be Your Lover”. Also, you could check out any number of artists from Stax Records (one of the best to ever do it), and it would be golden.
