Jam

If icebound got uprooted-esque plushies, what accessories would you give them? Who would be the cutest?

tyasia bonds

Derek, If icebound was a weekly campaign how would certain things have changed like for instance maybe having an entire episode or two of the herald of fear hunting the party?

FreeHugs

What would the first Arc of icebound look like if it took place completely on the boat? I'm thinking of doing a hardcore survival campaign at Sea

BabaYagasChickenToes

First off how are you guys doing? You've all been working your butt's off with TCM, cons and projects, I hope you all are taking time to take care of yourselves. My question is what do you guys like to do to relax when you get chance?

Chad Conway

As a newer DM myself, what is your process for homebrewing campaigns? Where do you get your inspiration for something like Icebound?

DuskBringer

Do you guys still read fics on AO3? Have you ever taken inspiration on how to play your characters or where to take the story from any of the fics? Which have been your favorite ones? What is your favorite type of fic/ship? This is the first community I've been in that has felt so welcoming and satisfying to write and read fanfictions about. It feels like y'all are shipping them a long with us. Also sorry for the bombardment. Feel free to only pick one to answer

JustJJ

Do you recommend people watch the streams even if they have not caught up?

Lilysgone

out of all the amazing avantris duos, which one do you think would do best on the amazing race?

EmilyInRedCoat

Richie mentioned that he wasn't expecting Jornir to be so beloved by fans. What about him you think is so appealing to fans? Why did you think he wouldn't be fan favourite?

Teea Zimora

If your characters (icebound or otherwise) could drive a car and it'd be normal (Ignoring things like height), what would they drive and how would they drive it? Would they be a cone, a Weaver, a speeder, The old lady who sits 2 inches from the steering wheel staring the windshield without a thought in their head, etc?

BearKat904

Hey ya'll! If you could go back and save any NPC from this campaign so far, who would you save and why?

Jameson the Immortal Hoe

Hello, I'm heading out to Chicago in a few months with my partner. Have you guys ever been before? If so, what activities or places to visit do you guys recommend?

ALoversRose

What is the "greatest feat" in universe performed by each campaign party and why?

Tastydoomtime

out of all of your characters which one would have the coolest looking limit break/finisher/ultimate move? and if forced too which of your campaigns would you add that sort of mechanic too?

TheMadTrickster

Hello, I hope you are all doing well. I've been relistening to Icebound at work and it is crazy to think about the characters started in prison and are now here. How do the characters feel surviving all the horrors of Drakkar and do they think a dragon with a sealed giant husband is the worst it can be?

JustJJ

What aspect of the campaign does each of you like the most?

Elijah bean

How come Richie doesn't dm?

Misa Meesa

Will there possibly be any more sidestories similar to the knights where their fates are predetermined?? Would love to see one of the ship crew surviving till Roland "escapes" Maybe have it unknown to the players(though yall are reading this now lol) who they're playing until it becomes clear when they all start dying off

Ronan

Out of all of your characters from previous campaigns that have ended or are on hiatus what character do you miss the most and are the most excited to get back to?

Misa Meesa

Does graveyard jack reference a specific breed of dog? Or is he just hound-like it general appearance wise I feel like a mix of Giant Schnauzer and Irish Wolfhound suits him best

choppaloppadingdong

I would purchase the hell out of Icebound plushies js 🤣

Jam

Taishen would be my prized possession

ZandOtherThings

If you could form a battle royal team of any LoA characters (NPCs included) which 5 characters would you choose to be on your team?

choppaloppadingdong

Not a question but thank you guys for everything you do. Your campaigns remind me to slow down and take a minute to breathe and play a little. Icebound is by far my favorite campaign and I relate to and love every character. We appreciate y’all! You guys are the best!

Misa Meesa

What type of Playlists do you see each character having? Jornir gives me classic rock vibes with norse/pagan music Skrimm would have a hidden Playlist of Broadway songs that he acts out when no one is watching Taishen only ever listened to songs locally so his Playlist is just a Mashup of whatever everyone else recommends And loooooots of kpop that him, Queenie, and Daisy listen to

N1GHTSP1R1T

Hey there, Avantris Crew!!! First time chatter, and I am brand new to the Patreon family. I am wondering, as an aspiring writer for both campaigns and novels: How do you develop a story so well? What does the writing process look like for you?

Elijah bean

Where is Nikkie? i miss queenie in icebound

Misa Meesa

Last one, promise lol Any preference for dice brand yall use? I'm a kraken gal, love me my dragon egg dice I designed for them lmao

AndrewTheRed

What level are you guys in Icebound now?? Also I know you guys are hella busy, but how come Icebound is only a monthly campaign?

Cobalt Bluewaters

If your Icebound characters were magically body swapped with each other, how would they handle it, what would they do? (they are themselves but are in someone else's body with someone else's abilities. And you can decide who they are swapped with)

Amazon_Jayde

Which of your PCs for any campaign do you think you would be safest with in the world of Avantris, and who do you think would try really hard but ultimately fail?

Echoeypie

I don’t know if this has been asked before, but for the survival specific part is that base game rules that you are just more particular about or is the expansion, for lack of a better word, that has the specific survival rules. Not sure if that’s a silly question or not haha

AnActualRubberDuck

Sorry if this has been asked before! If you could change ONE Canon event from their past, what would it be and Why?

Ian Howard

How would the DM's of the group handle certain kinds of magic (eg. teleport permanent circles) interfering with the central tension of part of a campaign (eg. dangerous seas), not so much from a personal or party level problem, but from an explaining the world not having solved this over time? is it better to just say the magic doesn't exist or devising a magic or an artifact that disrupts that kind of magic?

TheHolyTower

Are the classes you play as essential to your characters or do you see a world where you would be able to tell the same story, with different ones? For example; Jornir The Cleric of the old powers, instead of a Druid or a Taishen the Monk of Jade Shell Village instead of a Sorcerer?

OrcLovesPizza

Hi Everyone. Derek, how do you rule Extreme cold and foraging for food/ ingredients ? I've been trying to run Icewindale.

Clone Andy

The reboot of Stardust Rhapsody was great. I don’t know which cat’s ass these people that didn’t like it are sniffin.

Pilosand666

Question for Derek, what are your favorite toys or treats for cats?

Jacky_alltrades

What about calling this arc of Stardust Rhapsody 'Season 1', and the last one 'Season 0'? To give it more of semi-canon vibe?

InvertedRain

I play a dnd character that is similar to a pillar of who i am. However it still takes me a moment to make choices he would make instinctually. Does making quick choices in character come with time and practice or do yall have any tips to follow?

DuskBringer

Have you ever taken inspiration from fanfics for how to play out situations or where to take a story line?

The Fuzzy Flapper

Question for Derek! (Or anyone in the know) This has been bugging me ever since we learnt that vassals are named after food items, but what kind of food is a Myelin? Love Icebound and love you guys!

Autumnwolf

For the Crooked Moon are the tarot cards important to game play? Or just a lovely add on?

Watchmaker101

Not Icebound related but, I am going through Prime right now (20 eps in) and then I want to branch into the darker more lore heavy campaigns. Witchlight was my first campaign (so hyped its coming back!!!) and I am current on Icebound and SDR. What mindset should I have watching Prime and what order should I do the darker campaigns if the deep lore itch is what I am here to scratch. WL and Icebound have peaked my interest with the lore drops and the player reactions and uncovering the mysteries and ancient powers is my favorite part of the Avantris world!

Nico

A small question, but do you have an idea of what the wedding outfits look like? I'd love to draw the crew in their formal wear

CandiedKitsune

For mace! Because he’s my favorite character, do you plan on revealing more of Taishen’s backstory or just letting it hopefully come up organically within the campaign? I’d especially love to hear more about how Mei Li came into Taishen’s care

Keelay42

Since we're at a wedding, what's everyone's favorite love song?

Jacky_alltrades

Can I watch '13 Beers at the Local Cheese' as a standalone, or do I have to watch the first 1–12 Beers at the Local Cheese beforehand?

Schiwalker

ANDY HAVE YOU LISTENED TO THE SUMMONING BY SLEEP TOKEN YET?

Fancy Frogmouth

What anime could you see your Icebound characters fitting into? For Taishen I am curious as something other than the obvious AtLA option.

Cobalt Bluewaters

When Nightbloom was describing the ritual, she said she would send them off for the 2 guardians, but there are 3 hounds. Do you think there is a difference between the other 2 and Skrimm's hound? (It's kind of reminding me a little, at least from the GoT show, of Daenerys's dragons. Jack being Drogon.)

Sblibbo

I may have missed it in the background with all of the fantastic RP going on. Was Good Fare finished and/or played?

CodingZerp

with sdr getting new subtitles, will the episode numbers be changed as well on YouTube?

DuskBringer

I can't ever ask a question again. It scares me so much whenever you say my name XD I jumped, my heart skipped a beat, and now it hurts

Camina Draper

I'm starting a Call of Cthulhu campaign based in the old west. I wanted to take a page from Uprooted and put it in an animal based world. Do you guys have any tips for coming up with characters as the GM?

DuskBringer

XD y'all are the best. No hard feelings about reading or not reading. Thanks for not giving me another heart attack. I have recommendations for fics if you ever want them XD

The Fuzzy Flapper

For real, I wish I didnt use my real name for this account! Its a surreal experience hearing Mikey say my full name out loud on stream!

DuskBringer

XD My name is not common at all that it's so jarring to hear it being said, lol. I was able to change my name on the desktop version of the site. I didn't want to stop asking questions, but I couldn't afford another heart palpitation lol

Gregory Corbly

Hey so I discovered you guys a year ago and I’ve been bouncing around watching and listening to all your different campaigns. I have just pretty much caught up with everything. The last episode that I listened to was the final episode of curse of strahdanya. That was one hell of an emotional roller coaster. I tell you all this to make this statement. I drive trucks for a living and listen while I’m driving. I wonder what the other drivers passing me saw as me a 30-year-old grown man is crying as Sarnax is saying his final goodbyes. Every story you tell it’s made my long drives across the country that much more wonderful. Simple put thank you.

Sorrow98

I'm new here and it's been a while, but I'm just curious to know when is shroud over salt? Marsh coming back? You guys have been on hiatus. Since september of twenty twenty four I think maybe august, I just want to know when it's coming back if anybody has any ideas

YUUTAKOBO

Question for the Iceborn❄️ Can we give a name to every ogre, so the party will have a harder time to sacrifice them for their bad choices?🥲 Also compliments to our sound magician DM Derek ♡ love how you design your fights and how different almost all of your side-characters/antagonists feel. Especially with this gathering of different cultures between elves, goliaths, etc. You are an amazing storyteller!

Clone Andy

My Diamondbacks lost our last series with you. Who do you see making the wildcard playoffs?
