Hello, hope y’all are doing well. Nikkie/any DM’s at the table, do you have any niche advice for running games? Something out-of-the-box instead of general tips, per se.

snikrzdoodlz

I don't really have a question, but I've been watching you guys since April and I promised myself that for my birthday I'd leave a comment here. I just want to say that I sincerely appreciate you all. Your channel, and this campaign in particular, has genuinely made me fall in love with DnD. The companionship that you share and the beautiful stories you weave, both as DMs and players, are genuinely so inspirational. You've gotten me through a lot of stressful times, and in my transition to college, the love for DnD that watching you play has instilled in me has let me make many new friends and meet so many wonderful people. I'm even running my own campaign now, and I cannot wait to run Crooked Moon once I have a little more experience. Thank you for everything you all do, and I hope to run into you at gencon someday. You are all so talented and so lovely as people. thanks for being yourself and sharing your joy and creativity with the world! Can't wait to keep watching your campaigns- I'm working through icebound now, and I'm excited to start Stardust Rhapsody. I hold so much love for you all in my heart. thank you all so much!!

Catherine Grzywa

We are two sessions into TCM & the party is VERY protective of Adela. They were so relieved to find out she was unharmed after the train crash! Knowing how things go, I'm quite thankful to have a good poker face~! On that note, what are your guys' favorite moments when the rest of the party finally connected the dots on something in a campaign?

NannerMan

If you could reclass your characters what class would they be?

honeybunchesofgoats15

What is the most questionable thing your character has done, that goes against you as a person?

Misstrickster

Hello, hope Nikkie is felling better! Is there anyone in or outside the DnD community that you look up to?

Clinton Howser

Hey legends! I hope everyone’s doing well this week. I’ve always admired your ability to make the worlds of Avantris feel real for everybody, with that said, My question is what kind of tips do you have for setting a “tone” for a scene, how do I get my party to feel like they’re inside the game world and interact with it naturally like you guys do so well?

Jennderqueer

If you joined the discord it's one of the pinned comments in the Avantris-chat channel

Arlo Lee

Which one of your characters would be the pumpkin spice fan, and which of your characters would hate it with a passion? Happy fall Avantris fam! <3 🍂🎃💕

Cadstick

I mightve missed it if this was answered before but i was wondering what prompted you guys to start sharing your stuff with all the world/or rather when did the decision come to do so or was it just a spur of the moment kinda thing ? and you guys ended up crushing it btw Its nice to see some more laid back but still down to the base dnd.

Simanthra

If you could transmigrate into any character/campaign-- which one would it be?

Artofjhope

Was there a NPC death or reveal that made you feel truly devastated?

Any special content planned for Halloween? And will Edge of Midnight continue?

Now that Crooked Moon has begun to ship and we will soon have the hardcover goodness in out hot little hands, is there any plan to restore the easter eggs removed from the PDF, or will it remain a joy reserved for hardcopy?

Kyle Hutchings

Amongst all the Legend of Avantris characters, who is the most Halloween coded?

ClownySkeleton

if you had to take a character of yours (baring the ones from/in the crooked moon) and drop them into the crooked moon setting, which one do you think would last the longest?

Echoeypie

One dndish question one fun question: How do the different DMs session prep? I’m working my way through Icebound and am amazed at the amount of details that Derek is able to work into a session where you have no idea what the characters will choose to do. I would be curious to see how it varies person to person, since of course everyone’s style of Dming is slightly different. 2. If you didn’t know what the other members of Avantris had done for jobs prior to doing Avantris full time, what would you guess or assume their jobs would be? For example, I would have guessed that Derek was a secondary teacher (again, listening to icebound and the way he was explaining something was extremely reminiscent of how I explain things to my middle school students. Made me laugh lol)

Idowhatiwant2010

Mikey, do you still eat Skyr? I saw it at Ingels and grabbed some to try out.

Ygor's Homunculus

Kyle Hutchings

It's a Saturday night in 1990. The Mall is the place to be. The food court is jam packed and the arcade is so loud you can hear it all the way down to the Sam Goody. Which LoA characters are showing up to hang out and split some chili fries?
