Question for Mikey, being the creator of Avantris what made you choose the name? Does it mean anything in particular? Were there any other names you had in mind before ultimately choosing that one?

CandyWitch

Any tips for a newbie DM vs 3 (possible) experienced players (1 of them being a forever DM before i came to try)?? And homebrewing candy spells and use them like slingshot ammo??

SorenSilverblade

Besides Frost, what other Avantris character voices could function as GPS and AI assistants? I’d like to have Pyke as an AI assistant. Or perhaps Zellek.

Rain

To answer one of the questions you asked us: if we watch for you guys as "personalities". I for one, absolutely do watch The Legends of Avantris for Derek, Mikey, Nikkie, Mace, Richie, Andy, and Kelsey. And not just for the DnD or for the characters you portray. I like just watching the non DnD streams like WriteWars, Repo, and other games, or even just you all talking about stuff. Thank you all for being who you are. ❤️

My favorite way to play magic is my mill deck. last game my opponent's graveyard was twice the size of his library by turn 10. Am I a bad person for this ? and what are your favorite play styles in any game that causes you to ask if you are a bad person?

Ihatethewordfate

Now that I'm caught up on 13 Beers, I got to hear Mikey's "Superwholock" reference - were you guys part of any "fandoms" during the great Tumblr era?

Otaku Cowboy

If you guys were able to do a collaberation with magic the gathering, what kind of cards would you hope to see and what would the colors be?

starrysquid51

For the Crooked Moon when do yall think the books would start to appear at a game store or bookstore, anything for Barnes and Nobles?

Keito Potato, 敬人, archaicbro

Would you guys consider ever doing a couch-style Let's Play or at-home co-op games instead of 13 Beers for public subs? Y'all seem like you want to try Peak, that would be fun for a stream;; returning to Minecraft and trying to go to The End also seems like a good idea to keep things competitive and interesting...

Justin and thats it

Hi guys, i just want to abuse this feature to thank you for your work! Ive been following you for a long time now, but could never watch you live, since I live in Germany. I thought for my birthday I might tune in. Thank you for the pure joy you are bringing to the world. Best wishes from Germany, where sleep schedules are considered sleep suggestions

Hey everyone! I just received my crooked moon book and tarot yesterday and everything turned out beautiful! While looking over it I was curious, as someone who needs an audiobook when reading, if you had to either pick a voice work artist to voice over the crooked moon book or do it yourself who would you pick?( what would be the vibe you would look for?)

MaDoRoMi

If you had to play a parody version of yourself like "Andy" what would your gimmick be?

Em

Not a question, but I got home from work last Friday and was greeted by my copy of The Crooked Moon. I was already excited, but last week was an especially garbage week, so it really was a positive and extremely welcomed note to end my week on.

KnyleBorealis

If Tom Bombadil (LotR) were aligned with any DnD (or WFRP) deity/faction/entity, what would it be? What would be their dynamic? Or would he be a mysterious, unaligned element? I love the Avantris take on a lot of gods like Garex and Shar and Ilmater, so it seems like you guys would have a fun take.

Kyle Hutchings

As fellow fans of Over the Garden Wall, have you seen the deluxe action figure series about to drop on Mondo? They are doing a set for each episode, with the 1st offering dropping tomorrow at 1pm . Thought you might want to get in on that.

JackTheMurph

There's a good chance I might've missed it, but what do your 13 beers characters do outside of the local cheese? Do any of them have occupations?

Sam8749

What is one thing you wished you could have added to the crooked moon?

Korvyr

Who stole Andy's socks and why did Mace do it?

Derek Thorn

Is the wendigo from icebound the same as the beast of blight from the crooked moon?

ownhill

Like the arcade-type setting for Andy, what type of setting would you all be comfortable playing "yourself," And who would DM/GM it?

Derek Thorn

What is the dimensions of largest miniature from the crooked moon?

Cardboard_Clementine

Did you guys see the one piece line secret lab came out with?

BarbieLovesMe

Does the local cheese play Pixel Pop's music?

Misstrickster

Can you cook and if so what is your favorite dish?

mavi

andy being a magic nerd is so funny to me because he does not fit the image of a magic player that i have in my head

Da.void

Not really a question related to 13 beers but have y’all seen Pokemon Concierge? It’s stop motion animated and it’s very charming, very cozy vibes and amazing pattern work that I hope they release as merch at some point. Also Mikey I hope you enjoy your Spheal playmat! There is also matching spheal card sleeves…just letting you know 👀

Jam

If your best friend/significant other barfed on you everyday same time how many days until you get really mad about it

tuff_muck

What movie prop do you wish you had the most?

Sam8749

If you could remake one of your character with crooked moon subclass who would it be and why?

UhOhI'maPufferfish

What's a classic piece of media that you feel like you should have consumed (read/watched) but haven't gotten around to? Example: I have a friend who always says "Here's looking at you, kid" with perfect accuracy but has never seen Casablanca.

InvertedRain

What are some of y’alls rituals for getting into the villian’s mindset in order to roleplay them?

Freshposito

Been watching icebound and just got to where the party is dealing with ogretown-ton. Haven’t gotten far but are these oogres supposed to be like Scientologists? That opening scene was infuriating great job Derek⛽️💡

TheRandomChild

Would any of you ever get into voice acting? I love all of your work and Mikey your commitment to the rp is amazing. You give me chills with the emotion you put into it and I really appreciate and enjoy watching you work

Maou

Not really a pertinent question but Mikey have you seen that Blue Moon is making a lip balm? lol

Final Frostasy

Any chance you guys are considering playing the ff14 ttrpg?

Fright Knight

Do you have a place (like discord) where someone could post homebrew for review/feedback?

Kaiju_Kyle

First off I wanted to say I got my All-In order for the Crooked Moon and it's got me excited. However as some may know, sometimes a Kickstarter may go bad like I experienced with one where the people in charge ran off with the funds and left backers empty handed. All in all, have any of you had first hand experience with a Kickstarter that went bad?

BarbieLovesMe

Between Galileo and Pixel Pop who's better at DDR?

Cobalt Bluewaters

If you could turn any fast food mascot into a champion who would fight for you, who are you picking?

Stardust678

question for derek: I have been playing humongous fungus with my friends it is really fun. Is it a rule that the words have to make sense in a sentance "like humongous fungus" or could you use something less conventional like "dog frog" or "horatian laceration"

Jameson the Immortal Hoe

Hey guy! Was trying to look up your merch website and got a few results from Hot Topic. Have you guys actually started selling merch there or is this not the case?

Ashley

Hey guys! I hope Nikkie is getting better! Thank you for always answering my off the wall fanart questions lol. I was wondering if there was anyone in Fox Willow that would brew Sarsaparilla or would it be imported from a different town? One more, sorry, EOM Galtica in The Cockatrice On A Lance bar scene being mob style themed, I need car suggestions from that era you guys like please. As always thank you and loving tonight's session!

Kristen Williams

What song would make the best theme music or TV show for you?

TheRandomChild

Adding to Cobalt Bluewaters's question, If you could turn any Video game console into a champion who would fight for you, who are you picking?

CandyWitch

What's the most unsettling monster you'd seen in DND? And any tips to homebrewing??

BoAnn

Where did Gary's "Ding dong" saying come from?

Rain

Will we ever see Ygor as a player character, maybe in a one-shot?

Cobalt Bluewaters

Derek, was that true dice luck that February worked for Channel 6, or was that on purpose, cause April O’Neil does work for Channel 6 as well? 😆

William Murphy

Hey guys. I can't find ep. 6 of 13 beers on YouTube, twitch, or patreon. Did the video get delisted or deleted for some reason?
