Comments

Karli Tumbleson

Neon Nights: What is it like creating your own homebrew world?

Guntherfish

WITCHLIGHT: for everyone, what is one of your favorite feywild curses you have received?

BeckyFalcon

Icebound: Andy, how old was Skrimm when he met Graveyard Jack? He said he’d been running for 40 years and I think I remember someone saying he’s around 40 or so right?

SpaceCowboySal

Neon Nights: I'm taking the advice and starting with my BBEG first then working backwards, but the Big Bad I'm looking at is CR27 and I'm really picturing this campaign going to lvl 15 or so. How would yall recommend stat squishing a God tier monster for an adventure like this?

Shogunbirds

NEON NIGHTS: You've mentioned characters having a kernel in previous episodes, what is the kernel for the world of Avantris?

Fox

WITCHLIGHT: Random question, but are any of the party familiar with Mystery Science Theater? I was watching one the other night and got curious, seems like something y'all might enjoy.

ALoversRose

Neon Nights: Campaign vs. One-Shots How would you take the info/prep/advice/game plan and change it for One-Shots?

Mitch

NEON NIGHTS: What are some suggestions for building encounters for new DMs who struggle with balancing encounters between "good story", "players have fun", and "oh gods don't unalive them"? As someone who struggles with balance and running combat to be fun but *important*, this is something that scares me off from spinning up a new campaign! Also, love you all! Trying to catch up on all the good campaigns and one-shots!

Ali McIntosh

NEON NIGHTS: any tips on adding your own spin to module campaigns?

FnxSage

NEON NIGHTS: Any tips on describing an area? (dungeons, towns, and the like)

GG

WHICHLIGHT: I kept forgetting to ask this after I first brought up the question, but now that I've remembered, here I am to ask, and I'm wrapping Twig into it too. If Torbek and Twig were apart of the drag episode (ep 14) what would their drag queen/king names have been and what song would they have performed? Totally not asking for a project I'm working on that relates to this not at all-

GG

And I did come up with names myself for that project I'm totally not working on, and for anyone wondering they are Daisy Dumbstar for Torbek and Barry B. Zell for Twig

Fox

WITCHLIGHT: What do Beezleberries taste like, besides the general flavor of Eldritch horror and existential despair? Thinking of creating a cocktail in honor of everybody's favorite omniscient berry.

Raffled

NEON NIGHTS: Does the gang, (or even just Derek and Andy), plan on playing Baldur's Gate 3 and streaming it at all?

InstaSane

Witchlight: what do you guys think about this concept. Your players are nephilims in the sense that they have a light and a dark side. I'm thinking of letting my players level all the way to 20 in an arc on the light side and then get set back to 1 or 3 for the other then have to re level up in a new arc. I will basically be having them make a gestalt character by the end of the second arc after they max both sides out.

ThePeeg

Icebound: You guys seem well read and are pretty close to my age. Has anyone read the Dresden Files?

BeckyFalcon

Icebound: do you think there’s a chance you guys will circle back to the rest of the backstory flashbacks that got changed/interrupted by the rhino?

BeckyFalcon

Icebound: Derek and Andy, I know she’s not in the current arc but wHAT’S UP WITH DAISY AND SKRIMM HUH???

BeckyFalcon

Witchlight: Mace: I showed my mom the Muppets short you guys put out and she was dumbfounded over you saying you’d never seen the Muppets! So now she and I HAVE to know: HOW?????

BabaYagasChickenToes

Icebound: First of all, Derek I have never been more unsettled and anxious during a non combat episode in my life wtf? Second, how long did you expect Daisy and Honey to live in the campaign? If Honey had survived and made it this far as well had you planned for that possibility? We're you surprised Daisy lasted this long?

BabaYagasChickenToes

Witchlight: Nikkie, did you create Twigg as a character with the expectation that she'd stay with the gang on their adventure, or did you expect her to only stick around for a short time before departing? Were there any other npcs that you thought about making to join the gang that ultimately didn't make the cut?

CoffeeAndPaint

Witchlight: How do you get over the early DM fear of not making your campaign good enough?

ThePeeg

WITCHLIGHT: as long as you guys read this, no need to read it aloud unless you want to. How is everyone doing? We know you guys are taking on a lot, almost all of it for us, so I wanna know how is everyone and do you guys need anything from us?

ThePeeg

I mean you guys are my favorite people I've never met!

Sakim

WITCHLIGHT: when you all first got into dnd, what class intimidated you the most and have you played that class yet?

Medd-Lee

WITCHLIGHT: Nikkie your jacket is so cool <3

Blacwings

WITCHLIGHT: What is the status of the Bitsy costume? I'm dying to see Derek as Bitsy. 😃

whats_taterss

WITCHLIGHT: Which campaign do you think would be amazing with a Full House style intro? I think the Witchlight characters would work in so many sitcoms.

Lady Alexandranna

Witchlight: Angela when do we get see the packages open? I’m excited for y’all to see what I sent. Also are you gonna start your story time I’m excited and hopeful for it.

Alisha

Witchlight: Any chance we get more Minecraft? I absolutely loved watching it!

Pilosand666

What disney characters would make great companions in dnd like in kingdom hearts?

Kevin Cohen

(Witchlight): WAS IT BECAUSE OF NPC MIKEY IN THE INTRO? WAS IT BECAUSE OF “GANG GANG”?

Lady Butters

Ummm.... I..... But...... Nikkie..... Why?! I don't expect this to be answered, but I just want you to know how traumatized I, and the whole world, are now.

Alfie9254

(Witchlight) So sad… my poor heart! Such a great session! Always hate to see great characters come to an end. Nikkie, such a great job! Torbek is like the mangie friend I never knew I needed in my life!

Ali McIntosh

WITCHLIGHT Twig??? I'm assuming she was hurt in some way in the battle, the pact is broken then?

Kevin Cohen

If Mikey runs his oceanic campaign, is there a chance Richie runs ANOTHER Lizardfolk Warlock?

R. Condon

Witchlight: On the thread of fairy tale tropes, any chance the term eucatastrophe might be relevant next Wednesday? *Denial goggles go*

Eri the Rogue Fairy

With the kick start when its launched is that when VIPs can go and order it and will the pin and expansion come with it?

n0ze_

Icebound: For Derek, even with all the insane plot points, you've still kept it on the Survival theme. What process do you have for all these plot points anchored to your theme?

Kevin Cohen

Icebound: What is y’all’s opinion on being in a campaign where NPCs are not really present, and if they are they do not last very long? Does it make the theme of survival stronger than expected?

MiddleAgedPlague

Just saying hi to my name twin since Richie read your question on stream and I was REALLY confused. :D

CloeyZoey

Icebound: I’m really interested in the whole Confrontation and Cowardice thing. Are Taishen and Jornir warping into Ilban and Delia? Does this realm want want people to fill those roles and will warp personalities into that regardless? There’s something there and it’s bugging me!

spicymushrooms

ICEBOUND: this is my first live icebound so it’s my first chance to ask, Derek what made u choose survival horror as the vibe for what u wanted to run? Loving the campaign and session so far!💕

spicymushrooms

What’s everyone’s favorite dnd night food?

Kevin Cohen

If a dish can be themed after your characters, what do you believe it would be? I asked many months ago but got joke answers so I’d like to know a more serious answer for this campaign

R. Condon

Icebound: Given Skrimm's big bravery level up, is Jack proud or just pissed off?

Kevin Cohen

Icebound: Mikey, when Barnabos was younger, what was his hair like?

Kevin Cohen

Can we talk about how the different DMs run horror differently?

spicymushrooms

Q for nikkie: how many dolls do u have and do they have names?

captain shiloh

ICEBOUND: derek, can you tell us what the thing was that mace said early in the campaign that was exactly what was going on? my guess is when they were walking up to the tower for the first time in episode 2 and he said “there’s a fucking eldritch god in this tower” but i’d love for you to confirm or deny if you can

Clapcloud

Daisy? will she be seen again? Also, thanks for not making me cry tonight
