Added a few factions on default

Falling off ladder now breaks tables.

Fixed DQ on ladder matches.

Fixed camera angles not working when playing as defending champ who has a manager (this was an issue in the original game).

Added replay to Chokeslam and Powerbomb Rumble tosses.

Adjusted Flying Leg drop with weapon

Flying attacks that break portable tables no longer force you to stay down longer if you connected with opponent.

Updated 4 movesets with game breaking irish whip attacks on console.

Tweaked a handful of movesets with suggested changes.

Rumble tosses now result in opp staying down for a moment.

New matches (cage, barbed wire) and rules (5 count pin, 10 count TKO) now save for matches and PPV mode.

Added intro images which fixed the console freeze. Still need to finish the intro scenes.

Renamed some moves in customize mode.

Fixed Smoking Skull belt showing on menu when sandman is champ.

Fixed backstage matches loading to ring area in Championship.

Fixed 11 being set to 10 on countout.

Fixed Chokeslam and Powerbomb rumble tosses sometimes reversing incorrectly.

Fixed Chokeslam and Powerbomb rumble toss error on Barbed Wire matches.

Added a few weapon grapples (stab to gut and hit to back, Van damanator if you're matial arts).

Added Running Powerbomb rumble toss and Running Chokeslam rumble toss when special.

Added Flying attacks with weapon holding for Headbutts, Splash, Moonsault, Leg Drop, Double Knee Drop.

Due to the ROM size, Everdrive is no longer compatible. Summercart64 and emulators are the ways to play.

Due to the save file size, SC64 requires Firmware 2.18.0. Newer SC64 menus are still compatible. The next SC64 FW release should be compatible for saving.

Thanks again Randy! Been playing all the updates as they came out, on my android. Playing these on my PC via batocera I am experiencing issues where I am unable to highlight menu options. Any suggestions?

It sounds like a video plugin issue. Some plugins don't display menu items correctly. I haven't used batocera but see if there's a mupen video plugin option? Parallel seems to have issue on PC.

Thank you for the fast response, I'm fairly new to batocera, I will troubleshoot more. Seems to be a core issue, where I cannot find a Linux version of the over64mb mupen core in .so format, only .DLL for windows.

I ended up finding a core for parallel Linux retroarch core. I can share if you would like to include it in future releases for Linux users

There is a link to the .so file on github. The ONLY issue I experience is popping or some kind of audio issue which is probably related to my settings, apart from that the game runs better than on my android and I upscaled like 5Xs, the matches I've simulated run great . Hope this helps other users on Linux systems.

Thanks! I like to keep the projects within their time frames. I'm not a fan of spanning various time frames or mashups. This makes for limitless/endless requests on a limited game size. This project's time frame is capped at 2001.

Hi Randy. 2 things first. 1. Happy new year. 2. Love your No Mercy mod. Now my question, how do i get this mod to run, i'm completly new to N64 mods and have only played mods like Virtual Pro Wrestling freem edition etc. where i didn't had to do much to get it running. See ya.

Thanks! Please check the "read me" file in the root of the download and the "read me for patch" file in the patch folder. That should be all the info you need. If you don't already have the original NM rom, it's on vimms lair. Make sure on vimms you use the dropdown to change it from 1.1 to 1.0.

After a few tries, it finally worked. Thanks. Will there be also an edit mod in the game to change outfits? Are there more wrestlers to be made? Like Benoit, Malenko, the Steiners or Scott Hall?

There already is an edit mode, choose "customize" on the main menu. You can edit attires and move sets for the entire roster. The next release will have a ton of additional CAW attires that will be unlockable in the shop menu for various characters.

Hi there. I knew that but it never really loaded, had to click multiple times for some reason once in the (edit) menu. just now it worked 🤪😁 seems to be buggy (going black inbetween switching wrestlers). Atleast that's what i noticed. Also going into the menu fighting styles, same problem.

This looks so sick. I've played tons of No Mercy mods over the years but it's been a while. The stuff you are able to pull off would've been impossible back in the day when I was on the No Mercy Zone.

Freem is the man! Brother I finally got around to playing this for a bit and it's incredible. This is the ECW game I used to dream about. I love that we finally have proper tables in No Mercy. The blood stays on the mat! The authentic music! You've done a bang up job here and I can't wait to see the final version. Only issue I'm having is that I can't get a consistent frame rate. Even the base No Mercy struggles with that so I expected that to be an issue though I'm wondering if it's worse because I'm playing on an older PC that's not meant for gaming. I'll try to get it running on the Steam Deck later and see if it runs better there. It isn't even that bad, certainly not unplayable or anything. At worst it dips to like 45 FPS but it messes with the music and I really like the music lol. Again, fantastic job. This community can probably expect to see my ugly head in the future as I'm sure I'll be checking out this space pretty often. Edit: Just got it running on Steam Deck and the performance is perfect! Just tried out the barbed wire match for the first time and I'm so impressed

It sounds like you’re using a bad video plugin. What are you playing on? It all works perfectly if you’re in the right emulator/plugin or console.

The final release with have the characters from the last stable locked along with a bunch of caw attire parts that still need to be added.

I believe I have found a bug. Whenever you "Survival", if you simply press "Start" on the arena selection page, it causes there to be no stage, just a giant black curtain for part of a wrestler's entrance and the entire match. Additionally, when the entrance transitions to the wrestler coming out, it's defaulting to the Royal Rumble stage for just that particular scene. I tried various different combinations for arena/stage/ring and it was the same result every time. However if you instead proceed to the Rules page and start from there, none of the previous issues I mentioned will occur. Sorry if any of that is confusing!

Hey bro, I gave in and bought your medium package. I couldn't wait anymore, and besides that, you deserve some more support. Quick question, how do you climb out of the cage? I was stoked to see you could turn off escape victory, and naturally tried to take the fight outside the cage, but he just kept climbing to the top and jumping off, which is totally bad ass btw, but I tried a few different buttons, and that's all I could get him to do lol. And is there a certain way to hit them with the German suplex off the cage? I saw it in clip, and I assumed you just press A while they're trying to climb out. I haven't tried it, but I let my opponent grab me, and he just pulled me off by my leg. I really appreciate your work. I never thought I'd ever be excited to play No Mercy ever again. Thanks for everything!

I appreciate it! Questions like these are best asked in the general preview community chat. You can't escape to the floor. Turning off escape just disables winning that way, including disabling the CPU from attempting. To perform flying attacks when escape is still on, you press up and A before the character initiates the climb out animation/position. To perform grapples off of the cage, the opponent needs to be in one of the two "climb out/attempt to escape" positions. There are 4 "cage grapple" results, back drop and superplex for characters with the heavy reversal style or sunset powerbomb and hurricanrana for characters with the other reversal styles. I need to make a new manual with all the new features. It's on the to-do list lol.

Sorry I’m so new to this. Not sure of another place to post questions. I signed up so I could download. I tried so hard to figure this out. Read through the “read me” files extensively. Downloaded the proper no mercy, using the 64mugen in newest version of retroarch but everytime I got into content it doesn’t show the actual file. Any extra tips or info would be greatly appreciated.

One of the community chats would be best for questions. Sometimes the community will chime in to help. If you can't see the file, it sounds like you're not looking in the correct folder in RA. Try double checking that the ROM is labeled different from the original NM ROM and double check it's in the correct folder you're navigating to.

Random bug I just noticed yesterday in story mode. The TNN arena doesn't have a centered entrance ramp during matches (it is centered during a wrestler entrance) all of a sudden so in a match like a battle royal, when a new wrestler comes out, it can't enter the ring and just stands there out of the ring. Also chapter 6 of the World title story mode makes reference to some of the WWF belts. And if you win the World title with the Sandman, he comes out with the smoking skull belt vs the ECW World belt

hello im new to roms and all this stuff in general i subscribed to the patreon because of this rom i have a sc64 and updated it to the latest firmware but i cant seem to get the game patched properly i have used websites like rom patcher js but nothing works ive tried using the delta pathcer but i cant get that patch file in the spot i need it to patch any help would be very appreciated

Ok so I'm late to the party but I just downloaded this 7.1 after having earlier downloaded the open beta which is up and running on my n64 emulator. How do I apply this to my emulator do I have to replace the open beta file? I'm new to this I usually just play physical games. thanks for any help you can provide.
