ECW BORN TO BE WIRED Changes Since NM+V3

New match types and new rules added.

Multiman cage matches, barbed wire matches, 5 count pin and 10 count TKO.

Story dialogue has been altered to include ECW, custom NWA story by homeyohmy.

New in game features: Rumble toss with C-right.

Front grapple doomsday. Cage wall grapples. Flying attack off of cage top.

Weapon Grapples.

Flying Attacks with weapons.

Lay opponent on portable tables (even stack two opponents).

Flying attack off of stationary tables and loading truck.

Expanded wrestler select stable size. 16 characters per stable.

Did you check the read me file included in the download? I'd suggest reading that and the patch read me. You should be good to go with the info provided.

Yes i patched the rom to the WWF No Mercy.z64 file to the delta patch (via RomHacking.net since im using Android). However when i try to run it has a launch error.

In the main read me it lists the emulator to use for Android M64 FZ Pro and what video plugin to use. In the patch read me it mentions re-downloading a fresh 1.0 ROM from Vimms Lair if yours is having issues. I'm not familiar with Classicboy.

doing a barbed wire match and i thought, what if there was a barbed wire attire for every wrestler. like taped hands maybe a shirt. Wrestlers "prepared' differently. just a thought and i know not important at all. and possibly only my opinion.... still sick, im having so much fun bro. im home watching my old man (dementia) and these hacks really make it more enjoyable. Need more detail. What emulator are you playing on and what system? This is the first I've heard of this so it's likely a setting issue or an emu I haven't heard of (there are so many)

It’s best to ask this in the community general chat section. Make sure to unzip the download and read the read me files. One in the root of the zip and another in the patch folder. Once patched you just copy it to the Summercart SD card. If you want saving to work you’ll need to read about flashing the SC firmware to 2.18.0.

I cannot for the life of me get the ROM to open in full screen under options. It’s blanked out where you can’t click it right click clicking on the window. Tab doesn’t do anything either. Any ideas

I'm really not sure what program or emulator you're using? Alt+Enter is a typical full screen command for windows programs.

If that's volume up, you probably have a function key on the keybord. Hold function and F11. However, mine doesn't do it with F11. Make sure you're on the latest pj64 release. In pj64 if you're using the Glide video plugin (under configuration) go to Options/Graphic Settings and make sure you set your full screen resolution and refresh rate. Save and then try Alt+Enter.

Sooooo good, I am blown away. For the final version, is there a chance you would consider putting the Mysterio and Psychosis masks as separate from the upper body parts? For example, I'd love to have Rey's mask to use on a CAW without also having the armbands. Your work is so damn good that I'm ditching the 2K series entirely.

Playing on emulator m64plusFZpro. System settings set to glide64medium all others are on global standards. With both btbw and no mercy v3 it's speratic and random freezes either just after entrances or too many times using finishers or using balls logo chair. Tag team moves. But sometimes I can play for more than an hour without issues.

Hey Randy! Another PPV mode glitch occurred for me today… After I make the card, and go to play the matches, all the rules I set revert back to default like 5 minute time limit, DQs etc… Continues to happen even after restarts/remakes/reentering everything. Very odd because I’ve successfully run a few PPVs on here already and it was flawless. Just wanted to report it! Still the best game ever

Hi Randy, love the work and I'm desperate to get it to work, I have followed all the instructions (I think) in the read me files, downloaded a fresh rom of No Mercy (v1.0), patched it (had to turn off checksum validation or it wouldn't patch) and dragged the patched version on to the SC64 (which is running the older software) when I come to load it I just get a black screen and nothing happens. Any help would be great.

It sounds like you might not have the correct ROM. If you had to turn off checksum validation, something is wrong. I know you said it's 1.0 version but make sure it's the US 1.0 version. You can find it on vimms lair and make sure to use the dropdown to change it to 1.0.

Love the games. But no matter what championship mode I play on either ECW or No Mercy Plus it crashes on me? Using an iPad and playing it with delta. Has that happened with anyone else?

A few have reported the championship crash on delta specifically, I'm currently not sure what causes it. It's tough to troubleshoot when I can't recreate it on pc. I'l keep an eye out.

Just stumbled onto this. I got the files working on my summercart but can't for the life of me get the summercart to read on my pc, downgrade the firmware to 2.18 to have the save function. Has there been a patch for this to be able to save on the 2.20 or higher versions of the cart? (sorry if this has been asked before and THANK YOU for making these.)

No patch for saving, this is a hardware issue until the SC FW updates. If your PC won't connect to the SC, you likely have a usb C cable that isn't compatible. Try others if you have any.

Great game. I wish it saved (I've been working on the firmware thing and not been successful in that regard)... but it plays great!!!! Hopefully an update can fix the save issue I have... everything else is spot on, great job!!!

I was wondering if it was possible down the road to add an elimination option for triple threat matches so you could have 3 way dances? I know in one of the championship modes you wrestle in a 3 way dance but the option isn’t there for exhibition just original triple threat.

Actually you have to rollback the firmware to the last version (top of head v18? I think) this allows you to save data.

Can you be more specific on when it crashes? It does have an unknown random crash when navigating around SDM/Customize but only on console. Haven't located that yet. Besides that, I'm not aware of any other issues on SC64.

Sounds like you didn't follow the directions included in the download. Maybe slow down and follow each step and ask a more coherent question if you still can't get it.

I dont know if Im doing somwething wrong, but my game gets stuck in the intro. Specifically when Cactus Jack gets a piledriver on the entrance.

A cool idea for Championship Mode Alternates? Having no text or bubbles and it's only pure animations for a "Story Creator" for youtubers and every Championship Mode is replaced with general animations that change keeping the same theme when you move to the next "chapter" which would be a alternate animation of the same genre. Example: WRESTLER 1 through 4 is selected to start and animations including those 4 play out. Chapter 1: Backstage Promo Chapter 2: In Ring Promo Chapter 3: Stage Promo Chapter 4: 2 Person In Ring. So on and So on. Then with other Genre's there's more types of "Storylines" Gameboy Color Mode can be used for this idea maybe and be where all the random animations without context can be placed for fun. Just spitting out random ideas for NEW GAME MODES or even something to add to "Create a Pay Per View". I felt they didn't finish it since it's just RAW's theme and the camera just... THERE lol. Meanwhile Virtual Pro Wrestling and Wrestlemania got PYRO! Cool camera angles! Awesome Theme changes based on arenas! Hopefully this is also a cool idea if possible! I already love the feeling of having "Create a Arena" from older Acclaim Games! And changing so many new options that Create a Entrance is basically in this game too is beautiful. Changing Movesets is phenomenal. THIS IS BETTER than MOST GAME DEVELOPERS doing it for billion dollar companies <3 THANK YOU! Means a lot to me having all of these mods.

How long is the load time, ive downloaded a no mercy rom, downloaded this patch, patched together and put in summercart then put in n64 and the blue bar fills, then black screen then nothing. I've done the same with some other great patches for primetime, Saturday night etc and they work fine, but this and no mercy 3 dont seem to load, am I being impatient? Ive read the read me

It doesn’t take long at all. Sounds like the patch might be incorrect if it won’t load. Try redownloading a fresh rom and patch again. A lot of times user have the issue of patching over the normal NM rom and not realizing it. Another loading issue for these is using a custom SC menu areas if the normal one.

When in custom character creation I'm having trouble with being able to see and or enter text like for profile creation etc. I can hear the sound of the selection being made but can't see anything so I'm literally blind trying to guess what I'm typing in? I'm using an emulator on a tablet to run the mod. Any suggestions?
