Thanks for the update - tried it on Android using M64 Plus and works great. Will try it on ED64 Plus this week to see if works on the Everdrive knockoff

I need more detail than that. Are you playing for a championship?

If you play a rumble for a championship after using “unlock all”, the game will read the champion as ID 0000 because no champion is set. This causes Albino Rock to be loaded over the champ and the game will crash. Championships don’t save after winning a rumble match anyways. These happened in regular NM too. So set a champion in a non-rumble match and this won’t happen.

not working on the ed64, which is expected, seeing as vanilla no mercy also does not work on it. loving it on emulator, though. might upgrade my everdrive sooner than i thought.

ED64 as in the knockoff cart? I almost got one of those. Wow didn’t know vanilla NM didn’t work on that. I’ve tested on Everdrive 64 2.5 and x7.

Ah yes, I had this issue on the ED64 Plus but got regular No Mercy working using a different fla file (and it got Project Outsider mod to work as well).

EDIT - Send me a message and I can send you the fla file for both regular No Mercy and No Mercy Plus (hopefully it was just a faulty fuse in my power adapter 🤞🏻)

All you need to do is name the file the same as the No Mercy rom and place it in the ED64 Sav folder (it should be saved as .fla). No Mercy should then be run using Flash memory and you should be able to open and save as other games

That got vanilla no mercy working, but NMplus still just loads into a black screen. Thanks either way, playing vanilla no mercy on real hardware is gonna be so much better!

...i'm an idiot, aren't i? you need an expansion pak for this to work, don't you? i do not have an expansion pak. i might just get a bluetooth n64 controller instead of an expansion pak and/ or everdrive.

Ah, I didn't think of that so I wouldn't say you were being an idiot! I do have an expansion pack so we may need Retro Randy to confirm whether it is required or not

Having a problem patching this, Getting this error " An error has occurred: xdelta3: target window checksum mismatch: XD3_INVALID_INPUT" does it have to be the (U) z64 file specifically as I'm having problems sourcing that one?

In the read me is says "WWF No Mercy (U) [!].z64". Nothing else will work.

After a bit of tinkering I got it to work. Had to convert an n64 file to z64. Works well on raspberry pi 4 too which is sweet. Excellent work my friend. Are you going to put much more work into the No Mercy mod or will most of your efforts be on Backlash now?

The NM Plus mod is essentially preparing the ROM for other projects. I do plan to get back on Backlash now that I’ve located a few of the bugs.

Holding Z for 10 seconds doesn't unlock anything for me on shop, help plz?

I've tried the shop menus on v1 and v2.1 and nothing happens everything is just still locked after holding g z for 10 seconds on my everdrive X7

I go into the shop and hold and it doesn't unlock everything just remains the same amd locked

It works for sure. Try holding it continuously, even for 30. It might be like 12 seconds, I adjusted the time after v1 to what felt closer to 10. It should auto back out of the screen by itself at 10 seconds. That’s the indicator that it worked.
