Hi Biffa. This series is fun. Thank you. Tip of the week.. The sinks have a single pool of tickets. so you do not collect tickets per sink, everything you sink into them goes towards the next coupon globally. i hope that makes sense :\ I have only used trucks once, on my first play though.. just so that I can say I tried them out.. never again! You are going to love trains when you get that far.. I love the drones, but they are end game and complicated as you need batteries. very satisfying once all up and working though. Also, there are iron nodes near the coal.. you could have built your steel factory there rather than trucking the coal back to your main base.. but then you wouldnt have everything in the same place.. Power poles, you dont need the bigger ones at all, you are right. but the bigger ones you have have a larger gap between them and they work very well with the zip line.. which is a hand tool that you hook onto a power line and use to travel down it. a form of fast travel. Have a great weekend.

On the sinks and splitting stuff out to them. I love to build what I refer to as a pressure relief valve all through my supply lines. The basic idea is 6 splitters in a line (literally touching and feeding into each other) and 6 mergers directly on top of them. Join the splitters to each other with belts, then do the same to the mergers. Then for the outputs/inputs on either side of the line, join the splitters to the merger directly on top of them with a lifter on each side. When everything thing is moving, >99.9% of your stuff will exit from the last merger, and <1 out of 1000 units coming down the belt will exit the last splitter. But as soon as the primary line backs up, 100% of the supply flows to the splitter output. Stick one of these anywhere you might have a bottle next, with a sink connected to the overflow line. No more waste if you don't perfectly min/max your production line, as everything is either moving down the production line or being converted to tickets. Later in the high tier unlocks you get a smart splitter that can do this by itself. You simply assign an output as overflow. But since they require a computer to build, they stay fairly costly to make en-masse for a while after you unlock them.

That's really interesting thank you. I've bookmarked it for experimentation later :-)
