I think the best course of action is to block the mouth where the bad water is coming in with automatic control so that the good water comes through and blocks the badwater and destroy the blocks that's near there so that the badwater can flow away

Ngl I am low key concerned every time I see you delete berry bushes when you have so few left and no food reserves 😔

Yeah I think that's the only way, but it would need a bit of a mega damn too though. High enough that it would flow over the other source and boosh out through the bad canal channel while keeping our beavers on the lower side safe

If it was me I think I would pause the construction of the current mega damn until the bad water solution is in place. That way you could use the higher ground temporarily availble as extra food fields until things calm down n you have a comfortable reserve

It was touch-and-go for a while. Now back on track, get those breeding pods going ☺️ It might be a good idea to remove the two sets of levees still in the stream so that bad water remains in the stream instead of overflowing, affecting the farms. And yes, put in dams up where that spillway is in the mega dam to deal with any potential overflowing. As a priority, put in sluices in the back of the mega dam so you don't have to worry about raising and lowering the floodgates during bad tides. 🦫

When you removed the dam by the water pumps (as you finished building the sluices) you removed the only thing controlling the water height of the stream from the reservoir. That’s why the area outside the sluices stayed filled during the drought. The blocks further down control the entire height from reservoir to them. You need to add flood gates as close to the new sluices as you can. Also, as others have mentioned. You need a spill over point for the reservoir, either in to the stream or that unused spillway

Biffa. Your sluices at the end. Set them to Auto, and then Close above downstream level, like the one from your reservoir.

Then everything should equal out. And no bad water should enter either.

I'm soooo impressed you brought that round! tbh I thought you were done for half a dozen times in that episode -what a nail-biter!!. Just an fyi, since you're still working on the mega damn project at the end; if you want the water within to get any higher, i think you need to fill in the hole in the mountain beside the dry canal within your damn, or keep the hole as a spillway for excess/bad water run-off maybe?
