I think you could have saved some wood for the new section you are building as I am sure there was a section by the mouth of where the water was coming that went to a rock wall and was one block high so water could be stored. Also you followed on the other side of that section to mouth all the way round the edge, where you could have done a shortcut to the wall nearby by one block this saving wood, if it made sense.

Wonderful episode. Although you did waste some levees in the back where they weren't needed. But, other than that... fantastic ☺️

That intersection where you built all the dams; you can put up some floodgates so when a bad tide comes, it doesn't mix in with the good water and destroy your new Mangrove plantation. ;)
