I really thought the stream froze when you saw the bad water near the end of the video. That pause said it all :D

You will need to place a flood gate in the wall of leaves to allow the bad water to escape after the bad water event is over. In my opinion that would be a better way to allow the bad water to leave your new hydrated region.

Everthing was going along swimmingly and then... Badtide... I think it's time for ziplines to get beavers around the place quicker instead of them having to run. That might end the hunger and thirst.

Having played this map I was saying Oh no! Oh no! Oh no! As you looked around at the Badtide start. I knew what was coming. Like you said, a minor inconvenience.
