Extreme UHC & BiffaCraft Reset? (Patreon)

Hi all, 

Just a heads up - there will be another Extreme UHC sometime in Oct. Hopefully we can have more people turn up this time! We actually had over 200 on the whitelist but only 138 came :-(

I  will let you know the date & time as soon as it's announced.

Also, I have been thinking about a reset for BiffaCraft as it looks like apart from a couple of people, most have finished what they want to do.

Personally I wouldn't mind a reset, it would reignite my enthusiasm for Vanilla for sure. I know some people have only just joined but a reset it always going to happen when someone just joined! :-)

We could totally change things up for a while until 1.9 hits (and Spigot for 1.9) by having a map of  some sort or a sky map or something like that. Not really sure what's about but happy to take suggestions.

Thanks guys n girls for the feedback, I won't do anything before we've all had a say of course.

As a farm builder, I love a reset once my farms are built. We could rebuild the Bowl as a community project this time, and if you like I could even move the World Spawn so new players spawn in the Bowl. We could even swap out the MOB Spawner in your original bowl for an Iron Titan. Just an idea that popped in my head :p

Great ideas, Love community projects we can all work on together. Maybe Bowl v3 (is that what we're up to?) could have sections for different people to add their own touch too? Also we could go HUGE and make it a great world spawn- maybe 4 times the size? 0-o :-)

I like the idea to doing a reset on things and if we do this before the world gets reset as a goodbye thing having a copy of the world for our own would be neat!?

Building a New Uber-Bowl would be fun, and while I'm not indifferent to people like eeno who hasn't been able to finish thir base (get the finger out eeno ;) ) I think I have come to the end of what I wanted to do. Axalon and Omega Tower are two massive base builds, a third on the current map would seem redundant, and we are hitting the trough where people have mostly done what they want to do. Really about 8 or 9 months seems to be a good run for the map gives most people time to do what they want to do. I've not had the energy to devote to multiple projects and servers recently and I know that my focus has been on Nerdsauce where I can do something, even if it is just leaving bedrock surprises for people. As to what type of world, then I kind of like the idea of a Sky world or a water world. something to add more difficulties or new challenges. ... I already have an idea for a new base.

as an addendum to my other post we will need to get a world save of the S2 map, and S1, if possible just so we can keep what we have done.

Hope I can get my PC up and running again soon, it just died! Would love to get back on the server but you're right, I've basically done all that I set out to do on the current map. A reset seems fine with me.

I don't mind if the server will be reset. I have mostly finished my builds. Titanic would be forever unfinished though, I think. I think what I'll do is finish just the exterior. I have so much ideas (and I get new ones all the time), so I definitely will come back to the server. One thing is a bit bigger than Titanic, but much simpler in the inside so I think I'll finish that one. Also maybe not so many ships in the new server... And a castle as my base perhaps... Auris/plmi1

Aww! I've (Belarks') just completed his Last Homely House! Ah well.. if a reset mebbe can 'rebuild' it on new map :) |Regarding the UHC I hope to attend this time (last time family came on the day (dang them!) This time have a friend visiting from Canada <sigh>

Aww i Don't want a reset just yet! Wouldnt it be better to wait until 1.9 is released? I understand why so many will want to reset... disaappointing for me as i have a sketch of how i want my whole base which would have been huge! Not even made a dent in my plans yet but dont wanna start it again. Uhc... looking forward to it as always!! I just hope its not a saturday as thats when i work

Will you be releasing a download for the map? It would allow people who are new to finish their bases. I would really, really like to have a copy of it.
