WHAT AN ACTOR, PETER CAPALDI; btw Scottish Doctors are always the best ;)

Helen

The speech is the obvious highlight from this 2-parter. Unusual for Doctor Who in that it was delivered without support from the music (which only started right at the end of the speech). Right at the beginning of Capaldi's era, you said you could tell he would really be able to deliver good speeches and monologues. So, so true!

To save you some future distraction -- RTD looooves anagrams, Moffat not so much. In fact, I can't really think of any (or at least any of notice) that we've had in the Moffat era so far.

When the US started the war with Iran this year, just after bombing the schoolgirls, I posted this speech on my Facebook wall. It still gets me every time and saddens me that it's STILL relevant.

"Five rounds rapid" The Brigadier would be proud

Obviously Peter Capaldi is AMAZING in this episode but also this is one of my favourite episodes for the character of Clara (the real one not the zygon one lol) she's one of my all time favourite New Who companions

My head canon is that the og Zygon Osgood was killed by Missy, and the Osgood who was with the Doctor was indeed the human Osgood. That way at the end we have one human and one Zygon Osgood, but I'm sure it wouldn't make much difference if both Osgoods at the end are Zygon. Also I don't want og Osgood to be dead she's so awesome

That speech !! Also I love Osgood
