For our second Movie Club of December, we're taking a look at one of our favorite Holiday legends: Krampus!

We've covered this topic a few years ago, and it's worth catching up on the lore because this movie did a great job at referencing all the facets of the legend. The movie also does a decent job at combining campy comedy with heavy horror elements, so it's a wild time!

I remember watching this when it came out, I think I liked it well enough. Hard to remember since I was 12 at the time lol

It's interesting that the blizzard comes on suddenly and seems to imitate what the inside of a snow globe would look like... So maybe that lends credence to the idea that they have to relive Christmas day over and over again?

shoulda just offered him some fruit. Its fun having a reason to look back on old episodes. This movies been a personal Christmas classic for years. Kinda like Black Friday with Bruce Campbell.

Listening to this brought back memories. Then sound effects were brought up and how silly they were. I just watched 8-Legged Freaks. That's one with sound effects the entire time. It's good for a laugh or a groan, but I love stupid movies.
