Love having a hangover and trying to pass it off as a syndrome before hysteria makes it bigger

That sound made me think of that annoying bug. A cicada? I think

Sounds like low frequency sounds or something....

To Fredo: Greetings from Oklahoma! Wanted to mention something about chiggers and other unfun critters. When I was in college, I took care of our university habitat (mowing/pruning/events), and we had lots of ticks and such (including the Lonestar from Texas). The way I learned to deal with them was by dabbing lavender essential oil on my ankles every day before work. Then, I’d tuck my jeans into my socks. Since then I never had another tick or chigger. It has something to do with them disliking the smell of lavender for some reason. Anyway, I hope that helps on your next outing into tall grass!

I think the sonic weapons theory is the most compelling.

Original Irish Spring soap also works as a bug repellent. I use it in the shower when I am camping, and ticks leave me alone.

I also use that! I personally still experienced the bug problems before adding lavender to the mix (probably because of the duration of work in the grass), but maybe it’s just a winning combo.

I can relate to this I’m very sensitive to different frequencies for example I had the opportunity to go up with my broadcast engineer to look at the satellite dish and I got nausea and the worst cluster headache ever when I got back down to the studio

Nothing like winding down on my birthday by listening to some political intrigue.

I would like to think that someone had a pet reptile and they simply accidently dropped the box of crickets.

I live in Naples, Fl so about ten years now. Its not as far south as the Keys, but i've never heard these crickets before.

Ah chiggers, such terrible memories. I was listening to this and all the symptoms sound like something I have, Intracranial Hypertension. It took me 21 years to get diagnosed. Some people just get it. You can get it from certain medications, including acne meds, hormonal birth control, and doxycyline. It affects at least 1 in every 100,000 people and is more common in people whose parents were in the military according to a very recent study that's not been released yet that my doctor told me about.

The sound that's always makes me feel sick, is hearing that the Jersey Devil is no longer on the Mystery Madness bracket.

Did anyone else hear a baby/ little child cry at the second sound clip?
