SO. MANY. DEFEATS.

Zodiac Killer, Men in Black, and Project Blue Book all went down swinging, but we're loving that wide variety of topics still contending for the top spot.

Here's your Eerie Eight line-up this week:

Cicada 3301 vs. Mothman

Dyatlov Pass vs. Flannan Isles Lighthouse

Lake City Quiet Pills vs. Bella in the Wych Elm

Axeman of New Orleans vs. Squonk

Who will make it to the Fearsome Four? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.

Bazooka Joe

I'm worried about Mothman on this one.

Milkasaurous

I'm going to agree with people from last week; this selection was very easy...New Jersey Devil wins for every category. Don't know how it's possible but, man...look at him go. Right to the top. Don't think about it. Stop questioning it. You can see that the Jersey Devil won. Look, it's right there.

Leoanda

I know I'm waving goodbye to Flannan Isles on this one. As one of my favourites, it's done so well.

Charlotte Lynch

Mothman was an easy choice but I always loved that cryptid. I'm interested in seeing how the obscure cryptids do.

Demoet

It was interesting this time around, love them all but 3 clear picks for me. (Lake City, mothman, Jazz) The struggle for me was Dyatlov vs Flannan. I love Dyatlov cause I was introduce to it by that bad movie. Yet the Isle always gets to me, just a bunch of, "eh? Could've been this or that. Storms be scary out here.'

Mr. Pirate

I'm glad to see representation for the strong internet mysteries. I love cicada 3301, but I think the task force at large may turn against it.

Tyler Diamond

As much as I love my Oklahoma Octopus, I’ve gotta give it to the Axe Man. A truly painful choice this time around.

GASE0US CLAY

Even though I voted for the three obscures, I feel they won't continue on. So, I repost my haiku: Squonk, why do you cry? A pile of trash, is it you? Cry, die, just like me...

Cicada 3301 vs Mothman. Truly, truly kill your darlings. What a brutal pairing, but Cicada will live on in my heart and in my choice. Mothman, I will always love ye.

Hannah K. 🌲

But agree with others, glad to see the rep of internet mysteries last this long. My fav for sure.

esoules8

I'm living the same struggle with Dyatlov as Flannan. I feel either we see the light go out or an upset, but I am so proud of how far Flannan got.

esoules8

The Axe Man was one of the mysteries I knew before Red Web, but I don't know if the jazz loving killer can take down the Squonk.

Riven Bloodmarsh

Cicada vs Mothman is poetic. Rest now, sweet prince.

Rachel Foor

Dyatlov Pass vs Flannan Isles Lighthouse is a real Sophie's choice jeez

Marc Anderson

The two that was a tough choice to make was Dyatlov Pass vs Flannan Isles Lighthouse and Lake City Quiet Pills vs Bella in the Wych Elm. The other two were easy picks for me.

Santiago Rodriguez

Our Lord and Savior Squonk Christ will be the one to rule them all

Lochs

Cicada vs mothman???? Yall are evil😂😂

Juba2

This was the easiest round of voting with only one right answer in each line-up The pilot episode Cicada3301 will give Mothman our misunderstood hero his honorable death. Flannan Isles Lighthouse put up a good fight but ended up being washed away in the massive wave that is Dyatlov Pass Then we have the first public episode in Lake City Quiet Pills that sent Bella to the chopping block with her Wych Elm And finally the Axeman of New Orleans putting his sight on the puddle that once was the Squonk like Fredo will do while hunting these halls.
