I thought that the Cordyceps fungus had a decent amount to do with the story. They started talking about it at the beginning of the movie, and how the fungus could take over control of the body.

i hated the teacher so much in this movie.

There's a lot of foreshadowing and I ended up figuring out where it was going early on which sucked but it was good. I do agree with Trevor though, it was way over hyped. Lots of comedic stuff that I think blended good. Paul is definitely commentary on cop culture. Also to go with the cameos, June Diane Raphael of How Did This Get Made game is Donna, Paul's partner that dumps vodka on Justine in the liquor store.

I think I need to accept Christian and I have different tastes in movies 😅

I think one of the worst things about the movie was it being over hyped as a horror movie. But I really enjoyed it. But I went in almost completely blind to it. The hair was from the target, she could hypnotize with the personal item.

For me, I found the villain to be the weakest part of the movie. The beginning scenes have a fantastic tension that I wished lingered more than it did. Ultimately, I was disappointed that it was a witch. Made the movie feel cliche. The structure I enjoyed a lot because you get a complete picture of what’s going on and why this persons view is important, before you get the resolution. Lastly, showing Glady’s early on and then showing her as being real, irked me. It took away from the realization that she’s the villain when you see her in the flesh and it fell flat afterwards. I will say that it’s memorable for sure and if that’s the legacy that Cregger is building, good on him.
