This trailer and the Smashing Machine trailer were literally in every Alamo movie. Great discussion, and it gives me another thought on a rewatch.

As someone who grew up in the LDS Church and eventually left, I loved this movie. I agree with a lot of the discussion and it makes me want to rewatch it! Loved this one

I hate to be that guy, but I feel you missed the point of this movie. For example, the two doors leading to the same place is a metaphor for how if you belief in religion or you don't believe, you're still going to the same place in the end. That's the meaning behind Hugh Grant's character that I personally feel you missed.

I agree with most of this discussion. The best stuff is in the beginning, great discussion and rebuttal to it. Then they got this simulation shit which was wild but didn't last long. There's some good messaging and commentary on religion as a whole. I wish it would've went a different way instead of just some crazy dude. I also like how the Father comes back and it's just to give a pamphlet lol. Sophie's character also moves a bit after he was done pulling on her vein, of her own accord so I was waiting for her to get back up. Took her damn time. I don't know what the butterfly are the end is supposed to be. I'm assuming it's her seeing what she wants to see.
