This happened two towns from where I grew up I still remember sitting with my family on the couch watching the news cover it

Really cool to see you guys cover a topic that Gus and Chris Covered on Black Box Down, and to take a look from another angle! Such a fun juxtaposition on the same topic.

I just watched documentary on this flight and everything that’s points to a cover up is astounding

I literally was going to mention the same thing... I do miss Black Box Down, but this is great!

Came here to say this. I miss black box down so much and this was such a nostalgic episode, because of how it harkened back to that beloved content, for me

Fuel vapors are terrifying. I was go-karting once when the fuel cap fell off during a minor crash. I didn't notice for two laps until the marshal flagged me down and essentially ordered me to get behind the barrier. They said that the racing fuel usually used in small engines is just as dangerous as the stuff in real cars, and since the cap was off, oxygen was mixing with the fuel; it could've gone boom if it hit the hot exhaust.

This is joined my favorite episodes list, I am always fascinated by the ship/plane wreck mysteries.
