Why is this a story? Because he crashed naked and died (he can't say what happened). The crash is strange, but not impossible. The guy clearly had some kind of mental breakdown. However, if he didn't crashed weirdly and died, we wouldn't know about it. Mental breakdown and a weird deadly crash. In the search for answers people gave meaning to a strange document and personal connections. If you search, you will find something. Hundreds of people have car crashes or mental breakdown every day. It is a numbers game to have a crash in mysterious surcomstances with enough substance to speculate about conspiracies.

I get where you're coming from, but even if he hadn't crashed weirdly & just disappeared I think this would still be a mystery. From his bizarre behavior before the crash for days (or weeks can't remember now) to the odd letters, if he had simply run away, visited the woman from his past, & then poof gone, people would still be talking about him. Look at all the random 411 cases of people acting weird, going out to a national park, & disappearing. If he hadn't been found, I think he would have been thrown into a category similar to that.

Hear me out, he visits the woman from his childhood, possibly "sees" someone following him. Spooked he starts driving, but thinks he's still being followed. He concludes he's being tracked, assumes the tracker is in his clothing, strips, drives as far as he can from them without his seatbelt on, loses control, & crashes. I know I'm jumping through a lot of hoops for it, but honestly, this makes sense to me. Feels simple, but sometimes the simplest answer is the answer.

Alfredo is making the mistake of assuming this guys behavior here was out of the ordinary. He could have always been shouting random things, or writing down random nonsense, and his wife didnt think anything of it because it was the 100th time it happened.
