This case haunts me to this day. After brutally murdering a family, someone lived in their house for days after, seemingly caring for the livestock. Today, we're looking back at the Hinterkaifeck Murders.

A truly terrifying case with wild and unexpected details that you wouldn't see in any other case of its kind. Was it a family member, a family friend, someone who knew the family, or most horrifying of all... a complete stranger? Why did they tend to the livestock? Why stay at the scene of the crime for so long? Where did they go?

So many unanswered questions in this look back to our first year of Red Web.

Let us know if you have any new theories on the Hinterkaifeck Murders

This case is the case that makes me the most angry. So much being bungled. So much compromised before authorities could lock the site down. So much being destroyed by the War. The killer living on the farm for DAYS. Elements of other cases have frustrated me (Vallisca being equally compromised, cases where it feels like we have the suspect but not the evidence to nab them, DB Cooper and the Zodiac getting away despite having the best police sketches you'll ever see), but this case makes my blood boil
