October has begun, so you know what that means: Spooky Season™ has officially arrived! We asked you all what movie we should watch to kick off the fall vibes and the results were neck-and-neck between Halloweentown and the eventual winner The Evil Dead.

Honestly, we weren't very big fans of this movie. But let us know what you think! Should we watch more movies from the franchise? Perhaps the second one?

Sensitive topics: Death, gore, mutilation, dismemberment, sexual assault, nudity

I totally get everything you're saying, but I still love this movie, lol. I'm a weirdo and I love weird things. It's pure camp and it is just fun. But I also completely understand why ya'll aren't into it. It's definitely not for everyone. As for the trees... yeah, as a woman, that is a really hard scene to watch... it's the only part I don't love.

People remake Evil Dead but there's no love for Army of Darkness

“Rised the bar” 👏 👏 👏 Also, Evil Dead II and Army of Darkness are both much more self aware and don’t have those conflicting serious/campy tones., in my opinion, y’all might find them more palatable for that reason.

Maybe unpopular opinion, but the only one of these I actually really enjoyed was Evil Dead Rise. The remake was fine & Burns wasn't bad, but I did not enjoy any of the original 3 of these.
