Wriollette [wolf & dragon] (Patreon)

Hi, everyone! Here are the final art.

I don’t even feel like commenting much - for me Neuvillette is just divine in every way! I adore drawing these legs, this hair, and all the little dragon details…🤤 Thank you for voting for them in the poll!

This time I wanted a faster piece and was thinking about how to make that happen. I noticed I’ve kind of forgotten how to sketch? I can still quickly rough out a draft (a basic pose), but then I get stuck for hours on the lineart. It’s really exhausting and not very productive overall. So this time I carefully tracked what was happening at the lineart stage so I wouldn’t let myself get stuck in it again. I still spent a lot of time but less than usual. For the colours I also decided to keep everything sketchy. Though in the end it didn’t turn out quite as rough as I planned… And the surprising part for me is that this painterly sryle took less time than working with flatter colours...

And what do you guys think of the style? I feel like it looks pretty well.

There’s not much of a step-by-step to show this time. It was just a sketch, then lineart, then I merged it all into one page and went straight into colour on one layer:
