ZhongZhu [1000 years after] (for Liyue zine) (Patreon)

Hi everyone!

I want to share with you my illustration for Liyue zine which has been released this week.

You can download it here for free: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1vdzPJGeZtjXaXlqHwH5guIpsN-ZdYFeo?usp=drive_link

The zine has two versions, sfw and nsfw. You know where to find me))

I drew ZhongZhu (of course, who else could it possibly be haha) in a cozy, warm home setting. In my head, I called this piece "1000 years have passed" bc I went with a modern AU. The concept is super simple: my sweet baby buns will be together in 1000 years, in 2000 years, and basically forever.

In the zine, the artwork was cropped to fit a vertical format, and here is the full uncropped version just for you guys! ✨

This illustration took me forever to finish! I spent so much time messing around with the interior design.

Then I gathered a bunch of references and did some studies before even starting on the actual drawing.

Once I finally figured out what I wanted, I tried out a couple of composition options.

And when I chose the version I'd like to draw for the pose, I even went as far as making a 3D model.
