Jacob Dinkel

What are some non-D&D systems you guys would like to run for a campaign or one shot? (Could be based on D&D systems)

LiminalSpace

I've always wondered how each of you approach any sort of political intrique or sorta kangaroo court style plot lines and settings without revealing your hand too early

Curtis Dial

What does the future of jrwi look like, and that could pertain to anything, cast, campaign or just anything you can share

Ash346

When are we getting the swimsuit calendar cataloge of ya'll in the jrwi shop? since we all know you made one for a surprise but fellas the secret is out and we need a date 😬

Nobuko

Would you ever consider doing a live in-person session of JRWI (like at a con), whether it be a oneshot or a non-canon episode of one of the existing campaigns?

Dimichu

What PCs or NPCs across different campaigns do you think would particularly get along or fight

Nylon Technology

How are you doing? I hope both of your days are doing good :)

Chaoticisntokay

For both of you, you've previously spoken about the types of characters that you like to play on Just Rolled With It's in the past, is there a certain person on the JRWI team you would model a PC around?

Bella

RossoTheRed

For both (Content related): As DMs, how much do you tell the players about a campaign/oneshot before you start playin g? Like how much about the world, story, starting sequence, people, etc? For both (Not content related): If it's too personal, I understand yall skipping this. I'm at the point in life where my friends and I are starting to spread across the country. swellsha

can you do a backflip (important)

DW55

When do you guys think that PD will return?

T0MB Buick

How do you all find inspiration for a campaign? I was inspired by you guys to dm a campaign for my friends but I’m honestly struggling to come up with anything that feels like it would be good.

John Haidl

Did you ever expect Riptide (or JRWI in general) to grow this big over these 7 years? Do you have any ideas of what you did to make it get really popular?

Ella

Favorite jrwi character to play and favorite npc ever?

tidalwisp

what is your favorite character to play, and why? like, what is the most fun gimmick to play out, what is the most fun story to flesh out? also, this may be worded weird, how do you come up with the way you play your characters, and how they interact with the other characters? the stories, the voices, the gimmicks, and the personalities of all of the pcs are so interesting to me, and im really mostly interested in how the characters interact with eachother, since its probably my favorite aspect in most of the jrwi campaigns because of how well its done. this also goes for the npcs as well. TLDR: i wanna know how you guys do character interactions with specific characters :3

HollowHusk

Will you guys make more what-ifs In the future? If not, why? (They were incredibly fun to listen to.)

Mar

Will we ever see more JRWI What Ifs? Given how many more campaigns y’all have under your belts it feels like there’s definitely potential to do more, but I totally get it if you want to focus on just the bigger campaigns.

I’m not reading that

Once Emizel came back from the sun at the end of the Suckening would he look like Emizel or Shilo, or their third secret brother Emilo

Anidence

How excited are you fellas for Monster Hunter Wilds? How many hours do you think you'll lose to the game

Grubby_

What has been your favorite campaigns and npcs throughout your guys time making just roll with it

L-or-something

Will you guys have any more guest on the show. Also would you do an collaborations I. The future with other groups such a advantris?

Prince Ducky

What is your favorite NPC that you have made?

Mrtimsu

What is your process for creating characters? How do they always feel so connected to the world and have such good characters dynamics right from the start? How much do you know about each other’s characters before the start of the campaign?

Caspian Astronokia

genuine question ive had for nearly two years, did billy mays make it out of galloway and if so how did that happen?

Nathaniel Gumowskyj

I am about to finish listening to the riptide campaign for the second time, and so many things have come to light because I listen to the just rolled with it. Is there anything you want to tell people who don't listen to just rolled with it, any important details that they may have missed? One of mine that I learned was that the part with Gillian coming out of the luxabrus pearl, which made him again into the chosen one and there's a chance he wasn't the chosen one to begin with and I don't think a lot of people realized that.

OLIVER VIOLET

Do you have any worries about the consistency of characterization (for NPCs or PCs) once returning to Riptide?

Liz

I just really wanna know how yall met

Dastardly_D

What characters across all of JRWI history have you felt the most/least comfortable playing? P.S. Thank you for doing what you do!! JRWI has helped me through some really rough times. Much love!!!

Kinny

Which of your characters currently make you the most feral? Not in how you act when playing them but, like you want to put them in as many situations as possible. The most blorbo of your blorbos. put them in a jar and shake.

Robin C

Are you gonna publish Finn Tidestrider's book?

Trafulger Law

From a comedic sense, who has your favorite character to play been? And from a serious/story sense?

randopandour

Anything juicy coming up on your respective YouTube channels?

Finn

Totally random and out of the blue but have you guys ever looked at the Lancer system before? It's a mech based ttrpg that has just the coolest style out there. Would personally recommend you can do anything from a cowboy mech with 6 revolvers to a walking fortress with a cannon on its shoulder

BallMallet

When and are we getting The Dark Puckerd Hole as a hardcover with 220pgs of detailed grandpa s** merch drop and an extention to Apothiosis all this has to happen. But when?

Jakqua

t josephson

Do you prefer comedic characters or serious ones? And for serious characters, is there a character/storyline you've really wanted to play but never got the chance. Love the show btw

JD Putt

When you started JRWI, did you have any inkling of this level of success or that it could become a career? Were there any times the show almost stopped completely? Is Wheatie doing okay 🥲? Thanks for all the laughs from a 5+ year listener, I remember JRWI making me laugh when I struggled to feel comfortable in early highschool, now I’m finishing my junior semester in college! Shits crazy man.

Cherry

How did you guys all get into dnd?

Kaylee

Do you have any pets? If so what are they and what are their names?

BesterJester

How many skeletons do you think you could take in a fist fight?

mikeymoistmouth

If gillion died in episode 98 what would you guys have done with the story?

Austin Wray

You two are in my top five DMs of JRWI and I was wondering if you had any struggles starting DMing and what helped you get past them? I just started DMing for the first time on a The Vampire campaign cause of the Suckening and would love some advice.

Koby

For grizzly - what is your process for intertwining key events in the Riptide world with character/NPC backstories? Do you pick events/connections for the NPCs that most suit their character, or the other way around, do NPC's inspire past events in the world? Or some nebulous 3rd option? Thank youuu, I love everything you all do sooo much and have started dm-ing thanks to this show ❣️

Allyza

Hello! Do you ever want or plan to DM/play another Call of Cthulu system? The Blood in the Bayou series is one of my favorites :)

mandsymbolm

how much hawk could a hawk tuah hawk if a hawk tuah could hawk tuah?

Maiziebot!

I know condi at least is neurodivergent, as a neurodivergent dnd player, I don’t think I can ever make a character that is NOT neurodivergent, just because they’re my character. Do you think your characters are neurodivergent also, neurodivergent JRWI hosts?

Viewers Like You

Is there an estimate for how many episode of Riptide are left, or is the plan for Riptide to continue as long as possible?

ariconditioner
>>158234937

i believe it’s been said in the rolled that grizzly personally didn’t have a fun time with it and didn’t want to do it again, but who knows opinions change!

ariconditioner

condi i need to ask what emizels deal is. did he just come out like that like i need a psychoanalysis of him immediately, i dream to achieve the level of nihilism that emizel had seemingly effortlessly attained. and what was his arc if he had one? is emizel just a little rat bastard who gives no fucks surrounded by traumatized drama queens?

Idiot_man 17

How do you come up with your campaign ideas

Deri

In your guy’s opinion, who was the best character in all of JRWI

fishichip

how do yall get into character and be that involved with the story? when yall play i feel like yall are almost entirely different ppl!!! its so cool!

Roosy

Is the team working on any kind of recap video for the return to riptide?

TylluanFathomless

Sern Starr

who are y’all’s biggest inspiration when it comes to creating new campaigns or anything dnd related?

David Bates

As an aspiring game master, how do you create notes, and maintain fun throughout the game? Also, is there ever a chance of a city of mist mini campaign?

Andrew Donahue

Have either of you read any fanfiction of the jrwi campaigns? Or even knew jrwi fanfiction existed?

thehighwayman

What DnD class do you think you would be in real life? For bonus points, what class do you think the other jrwi hosts would be? For example, I think my terrestrial ecology field professor would be a ranger since I’ve never seen a middle aged man absolutely mob a rocky trail so quickly before (because his movement speed must not be penalized by difficult terrain in his favored terrain, the bush). Since I study aquatic invertebrate taxonomy, I think I’d be a druid (of the little guys). I’d love to summon hoards of zooplankton at people.

Frankenstein

What’s your favorite piece of media?(book, movie, show, game, comic, etc)

lefishe27

What do you guys do about prepping a campaign? What goes into writing the first steps of the characters / first few sessions mainly, I’m curious to know

Nolan Carlsen

what are your tips for a new dm?

The Lemonade Guy

Do you guys have any tips for scheduling DnD sessions?

Flipflop

Are there any ways that you see your DM styles differing? What things do you admire in each other's methods of DMing/worldbuilding?

AussieShark

Do you think we'll ever get another crossover oneshot? (Specifically because I NEED Runt and Jay to meet, they would be best friends) Also when riptide returns are you planning to have more special guests come on?

Zachary

How do you guys go about making music you all seem really good at it

Eldritch Violet

Did you know you can get a little beanie ball that's a purple mouse I know mice and rats are different but I got one and named it Runt and she lives in my kitchen

AvatarJini

How do you sustain a long campaign? With shorter campaigns, I'm sure it's easier to keep track of what's going on where but with something like Riptide or PD, it feels like there's always so many moving pieces. How do you keep track of them all and incorporate them meaningfully into the story?

King_Anime

How can u get in character so good, and do u have tips to do so?

BigMeatyChonk

How do you play characters with such deep personalities, and what parts of a character are best to keep in mind while playing them? I often find characters I play to be robotic like Skyrim NPCs.

Allyza
>>158234937

ohhh! ive not heard about that yet, a bit sad but their preferences are important

Tommi☆

Do you guys plan on making any more crossover Just Roll What Ifs? If so, what characters do two want to interact?

cl0msy

whats your guys favourite hobbies outside of this. like music, art, going outside 🤮

Vyrion-157

What was the context of the “I AM THE KING 🗣️🔥🔥🔥‼️‼️‼️” in Judgement Ep-1? I am so curious because that shit made me cackle.

bazyli

im absolutely loving judgement so far!! was the murderous mystery oneshot always meant to set the stage for a larger campaign? how many episodes is judgement going to be? do you already have an idea for what the plan for the next patreon campaign is after judgement is over?

Jazzatnight

Condi and grizz, if you could make a PC in your respective campaigns (riptide for grizz and apotheosis OR judgement for condi)

Draven Fisher

Has there been any official talks yet about The suckening getting a season 2?

GeneralBlep

What has been your favourite campaign/series to record and why?

Isle Of Dead

Why’s Runt getting the Arthur Morgan treatment? I really got handle another character getting tuberculosis

dane koster

in the rolled of blood in the bayou, you were talking about an idea of an apocalypse setting for call of cthulu (and in general), and i honestly really like that idea. would you ever consider doing something like that for a mini campaign or something? i really loved bitb and the overall vibe of that campaign, yall are great

ruby

what are your long term goals with jrwi? did you expect to get as far as you have when you guys started?

riceballart

what kind of flavor is troy because he sure is giving off warm pond water and algae to me

thee_birdo
>>158224521

please don't remind me of grizzly's tier list oh my god that pissed me off /silly

thee_birdo

Have y'all given any more thought into the convergence reboot? as in if you would want to create new characters or continue with your old ones bonus (not a question): you should release the pd chess episode as a what if it would be funny trust me

Gist

Any more thoughts on Suckening S2?

Bryce Wilson

You guys have used a lot of different TTRPGs other than D&D. Vampire the Masquerade, Call of Cthulhu, Mutants and Masterminds- are there any other systems you guys are interested in trying out?

CitrusJune

How has one or several of your characters changed in a way you didn’t expect, and how do you feel about that reflecting back now?

Sketchy

Huge fan of just roll with it and have been listening non stop for over a year now. I’ve noticed that in a lot of campaigns Grizzly will make a song out of nowhere and every time the song is absolutely amazing. Just curious if you ever did music before JRWI or were considering doing anything with it in the future?

SparklySkittles

first of all, u guys are amazing, and this podcast has genuinely helped me through some pretty hard times, and while i haven't been a patreon member the whole time ive been a listener since the very beginning, keep being amazing guys. ok anyway with that out of the way, what are your guys favorite bits from the podcast as a whole?

Luna Lou
>>158263095

I was wondering the same, in my group we play all sorts, I'd definitely recommend mörkborg for a dark fantasy or mothership for a really awesome space horror :) but there's so many systems out there to try

KuroKultre

What is everyone's favourite class to play? Are there any campaign ideas that have been losely thrown around but not committed to yet? (sci-fi campaign and my life is yours) Where do you guys look for inspiration for characters? Whats the process of designing new merch like? At this point, how big of a team works on jrwi?

Mdekitty_14

How do you guys plan a session as a DM? I'm about to dual DM a session with my cousin to try and split the workload but we are both completely new to it.

Nolan Anspach

How does one possibly contain the Bibly (Bizly)?

Sam

Q-What Campaigns have you heard that you wish you could have run or played through? **Not saying you think you could have done better, but as a listener and a “Lore hor” there are times where I wished the players had more time and explored places more or forced the dm into more funny npc interactions. I appreciate and Thankyou for all yall do!! =-)

SillyBilly

Is the stick going to be actually a big component to Nicklaus and them or was it a gag ( please I need a reason to over analyze the stick 💀 )

Bread

what would be any of your characters' top songs on their Spotify wrapped

Blue J
>>158245388

I can answer that one. Word association games got a little crazy

Blue J

DPH full release when /j /please don’t do this

PicKyle1

What advice would you give to new dms making their own campaign and what is the best way to prep for upcoming sessions (in your opinion)

J-star

Mythborne? Please

LickSquid

Question for grizz, is weezy F baby still alive? Did he survive the hole in the sea? Will he make a grand appearance during riptide? Also really good to see condi back in the DM chair, judgement is very entertaining

Bailey Wilson

What are some of the things that have gone into making this show, and more specifically now the new website, happen? What kind of work is happening behind the scenes that takes these ideas and puts them out into the world? Anything you can think of: brainstorming, session 0s, pre-production, post-production, anything. (I know this is kinda long of a question, but I’m a journalist, I literally do this for a living.)

Poke

always wondered did any of you guys play granblue fantasy? i notice a ton of the soundtrack sprinkled in the show.

(Insert Name)

Why doesn't both Grizz or Condi, either rarely, or never upload on their channels anymore?

Po1nty

why?

VeeVee

what are your respective favorite bands/artists and why? (you can cheat a little by having multiple favorites)

Lyla Harper

Question for condi (can’t do grizzly since he probably knows what’s going to happen) Since riptide has been gone I’ve been thinking about what’s going to happen in the hole in the sea and if Arlin is even there. What do you think is down there and do you think Arlin is down there? I would be personally devastated if chip went down there and Arlin wasn’t there. I know jay isn’t going in the hole herself but it would be cool to know what you think is down there. Thanks again!

Nolan Jones

Yo! Just wanted to ask what your favorite moments have been during any of your many campaigns?

CatBoi520

Grizz how do you keep coming up with wonderful characters?

Krowan

Since both of you have campaigns that have concluded, are there any random lore/world building tidbits you could share with us?

Ren

Do y’all have any tips on how you make and roleplay your characters? Everyone is always so interesting but not too crazy that they aren’t relatable!

Agar Steeljaw

Semi-Spoiler Question: Grizzly, what inspired you to design the Black Sea and that of the Hallowed Undead? Was this completely homebrewed or was there an inspiration? The horrific nature of the twisted inflicted was chilling, alongside the speed in which a friendly NPC can turn. It was all great stuff. Also, did you ever consider completely corrupting an NPC in the party to slim down the overall cast for an easier time DMing?

Hababagagaba

how do you practice your voices for your characters? what do you say to practice them? how do you not look crazy talking to yourself?

Gunkymunkyspunk

What do you two do to stay consistent and on track with your world building and lore writing? As a fellow writer I tend to get bogged down in the minor details so I’d be curious to hear if you have any tips on managing priorities (Boring question, I know).

I_don't_pay_taxes

How is the future for jrwi looking, anything upcoming that you can reveal?

James Thomas

What’s your favourite source for music in the campaigns?

Bonnie Connelly

If each campagin had an art style as if it was an animated show or a comic book, which ones do you personally think fit the different stories best?

Calummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Is Milo joining the cast as a more permanent member? If so will they join the “main” campaigns too or just exclusive ones?

Rice Buchanan

I don’t know if you answered this elsewhere, but will there ever be a prime defenders season 3?

Dee

I’d love to hear about your first experiences with dnd, and when you each had the moment where dnd ‘clicked’ for you. Do you guys remember your very first dnd characters/campaigns?

Snezzing

more about vyncent and dakoas relations towards eachother?

Nicholas Fogelquist

Any tips for getting into a good creative headspace for writing? (Whether it be for dnd plot or music such as Smoke With The Devil or Hole in Your Heart.) I feel like I can get such good ideas for dnd plots or songs but when it comes down to sitting down and actually writing or expanding on ideas, ADHD brain goes BrRRRRrrrRrRr lol.

Ivanavich

Would you rather...? The setting: imagine a 100x100x10 room, nothing on the floors or walls The question: Between 5 Helen Kellers with assault rifles or 20 stephen hawkings with instantaneously accelerating wheelchairs up to 30 mph trying to run you over , who are you choose to beat in a fight and why?

Grunch

When Riptide ends, will there be a grand reveal that Finn has somehow already managed to write another sex book? On a more serious note, do you have any tips on improvising scenes while maintaining immersion? How do you handle fight scenes when you don't have a character sheet for the NPC the players are fighting? Lastly, what characters have been your favorite to play and why? Thank you!

Fan of ham

What’s your favourite deli meat

HighInPotassium

Do you have any tips in regards to world building? I am currently trying to get into being a DM, I have an (in my opinion) amazing campaign setting. However, I am currently having trouble with world building and fitting all the pieces together.

Good luck with the game! Co-DMs is honestly the way to go, as DMing can be a lot of work if you have no one to help out

Bugzy_Cos

Who would each of your characters main in Mariokart?

Josh Farmer

In all jrwi who was your favorite character to dm for/play

Benjamin L.M

I know people have asked this already but just to increase chances, what do you tell your players before a campaign so they can build their characters around it? Or do you collaborate? I'm trying to DM for a campaign and I don't know how I could get them to integrate their relationships into the lore without giving everything away

Calvin Tatton

What is your favorite character (pc) in your campaigns

If you guys had to have sex with any one of your characters which one would you choose

Lenky

Who should I think for the crazy good sound designs in the newer campagains? Could we get a shout out for all the behind the scenes people that make this podcast so awesome?

mif

Will we ever get art of older characters who diden't have it wenn they were introduced

Mateter

Are there any plans to go back to a 2 release per week schedule? Rather than 1? Just wondering cuz I really enjoyed that schedule and it really helped me a lot through uni and work.

TotallyNotNP

Do you guys ever slip into character voices in wierd contexts? Sometimes after playing with my group I’ll start doing my NPCs voices while around the house and stuff so I imagine you guys might have a similar problem 😭

Dingdongdude

Is Charlie too busy to do all that much with podcast merch bc I only ever hear about Bizly being the one working on merch, and because Charlie is busy being popular is he just too busy to work on things for the podcast?
