Yah I loved Lucia in tmk, I see what u mean by not a strong character but honestly mels hesitancy rn feels perfect place to make the change. Mel has seemed really different and disoriented this episode but that makes sense, her world crumbled around her but this time she has supportive people around her! No one would be the same during these events so however she comes out of it is whatever you want. To me this episode it seemed that she was really overwhelmed but also safe at the same time? Like when ur going thru a crisis but ur around ur friends so u don’t have to keep it together and have all your walls up like she did in the early episodes. I liked seeing her be squeamish to the bugs and I feel like the bit brain was turning on. I could totally see cartoonishly deathly fear of bugs being a thing. I personally don’t love chronically angry characters but rn a crash out arc makes a lot of sense. So excited to see what you do with her, I know it’ll be great ! <333
