I like how the fake session 0 for Mel basically presents an idealized version of herself: a capable competent badass thief who could handle anyone and anything (at least until she got caught). But in Mel's true session 0, it shows who she really is: a troubled kid desperately trying find some acceptance in this life, with all the times she fumbled in actuality.

I'm calling it rn- Mel is the catalyst for the cure. That's why her mark was all different after being bitten and she isn't affected by it. Or it's delayed, lol.

thats what i was thinking!!!!! like maybe the blade cured her (somehow 🥸) or like….. if the blade “cuts through time”, maybe its prolonging her life before the infection gets her (like literally cutting through time, like a kind of stasis, so the infection is kinda… null?) or she is immune!!!!! maybe!!!!! who knows!!!!
