This one is a lot of fun; a whole section perfect for the current party dynamic followed by a section perfect for the player group. So good. Big fan.

keeping this super vague but this is one of my favorite eps ever, if not my favorite. it goes without saying that condi's acting is beautiful here. the way he gets so in character (he even says something along the lines of "idk how to act as jay she just overtakes me" or something at one point during this ep LOL) that i started crying along with him. this is the absolute perfect chapter in her arc. i love you jay ferin I LOVE YOU JAY FERIN!!!!

2:03:33 as a certified pirate enthusiast who loves to research this shit for fun, Chip is a pirate. He may not be the general idea of one, but he checks all the boxes, which is committing crime on the high seas. Pirates historically were varied, they’ve existed so long as ocean trade has, so many cultures had their own pirates, some even mixed together at times. He may not fit the culture expectation, but he still is a pirate!!!

The bit about the chest is when you confess you think your friends hate you and they reassure you that you don’t, it’s all good, and then when you’ve calmed down they say in an over dramatic voice “even though we’ve been friends for years and you’ve been with me through my darkest moments, I actually hate you want to hit you with hammers.” Just to reinforce how absurd those insecurities are and dispel them with humor
