i saw this and then went into the episode expecting you to be right but i disagree. he's alienating his kid, helping him survive but preventing him from living, and holding his wife and his mother's death over his head. dakota and will were being immature in the moment but theyre right. wavelength is protecting ashe, but surviving is not the same as living. you cannot live completely alone in your room with no social interaction nor experiences
