I disagree with grizzly’s criticisms. I don’t think it’s fair that the players get to become absolutely unhinged and do sewer ravioli whenever they want but as soon as the dm wants to do something fun he gets shit for it. They (especially grizzly) are way too hard on poor bizly.

As much as we all understand wanting to take Prime Defenders seriously, the cracked out stuff that happens on Prime Defenders is a large amount of its appeal. Riptide is super serious with a little bit of funny far and few between which is entertaining. But you need that overly goofy stuff to balance out the two campaigns. Stuff like convergence, sewer ravioli, and Beardman Huntguy are the fan favorite parts of JRWI for a good reason.

This episode was a drug trip in itself but I love it so much especially with the last Riptide episode making me sob uncontrollably, I had a good old laugh to balance it out
