Curt Dogger

When they mentioned the second chosen one, I immediately thought of caspian for the sole reason that he had and gave a sword that works better in daylight to gill.

Audrey

I still stand by it, There is no second chosen one, it was just the prophecy that got warped based on the religion that was perceiving it, therefore making a prophecy for the moon goddess and a prophecy for the sun goddess

Bo

Gillion is actually my favorite dnd character ever. Nothing else to say. Just that.

Kobra

Spoilers for future episodes past this one • • • • • • • • • • • • If you listen to this after listening to all the episodes it is scary how much they got right without knowing it.

ariconditioner

Charlie: “This carnival is so cool and I feel like something good will happen.” Ha. Ha ha. Cant wait for the next rolled guys.

Three Moths in a Trenchcoat

"What if we got the deck of many things and we drew the demon card and felipe-" Fuck you condifiction /j

JuggerNutts

I kinda feel like if chip died bizzly should play as ollie, not sure what class ollie would be... maybe fighter with what he is now also I kinda think it would be funny if he turned out to be the chosen one and not gillian

Keyia

Theory: Filipe is not actually a grung but instead a petite nergaliid who is unaware of this fact "Chip and Filipe Are Friends" is my favorite children's book I wonder which stage of grief Gillion's going to go through first Remember when Chip had two pinkies? That was crazy

Mksiblings

I still have a theory where ollie is a wild magic sorcerer. Though there's barely any evidence past him being jumpy once when asked if he know anything about magic (chip and him robbing the sky king), that getting older by an even number of years is a wild magic effect which happened when Ollie feasibly could have tried to help in a fight, and since NK said he wasn't responsible for ollie's curse

GenerallyJen

honestly most the campaigns my friends and I run are based from the modules it’s a great way to take a break from the insanity that is running and writing a campaign at the same time, so please don’t feel guilty about using one the feywild episode was super fun and felt just as much ‘riptide’ as any other episode, I look forward to the rest of the arc!

Keyia

14 glowstone + 1 water bucket = the elemental plane of air?

Keyia

I got a module for my birthday a while back, can you please explain how to use them because I stopped comprehending when they started describing the NPCs' alignments I really want to DM but I don't know what I'm doing which does not aid my social anxiety

iki

ollie is niklaus's son or inside spy omg

william's wasp

i run this module and grizzly it simultaneously brings me so much joy and sooo much pain (affectionate) seeing you run it. the moment i heard the name northwest instead of northwind i internally groaned so hard you probably heard it all the way across the country. however i loved the way u played diana, she's one of my player's ex girlfriends in our campaign :)

Yami Zero

I've been thinking it for a while and I so believe apple is going to be Jay's mother. In the past episode they did birds were all talking and hanging around her. Apple is always hanging around Jay now. I believe something happened and she was cursed. With her father so focused on work/finding Jay and her sister gone there is no one there to look after her mother and know something happened

BonezMcCann

I know you already said NO, but what if Philippe is the moon goddess

Gunkymunkyspunk

Honestly they really do need to start treating the NPCs on their crew more like real people. I don’t think they would mutiny, but I really do think some of them should eventually leave if their captains keep neglecting them. They are real people in this story and not just bit material. Although I will say that it is hard to come up with something for them to do that isn’t what the PCs are doing. I dunno, at least they should bring griffin along on some of the main adventures.

OfficialLilac

Aside from the Pretzel thing I have no issue with Grizzly doing anything different (modules). I think that if the modules help him have less stress and let him actually be surprised at some things that are going on that that’s super great! ❤️

Firn

I really did enjoy the module, it still felt like it was written by you. I think it's really good that you get a break, but at the end of the day it is your story. That's why it feels bad to have even s tiny part of it not be yours

ElvishCyborg

I’ve been meaning to play this module for a while now so it’s really cool to see the Riptide Crew going through it in their own way

Leukros

I like the module so far!! Anything that decreases the amount of effort/time you have to put in as a DM is pretty great since DMing takes so, so much energy. (plus I think it's cool since it brings in this aspect of 'how do I take this story and make it my own' and since anyone can play those modules anyone who plays it has their own experience and thats just an extra fun layer to it all yknow?)

Honeywisk

My god, please tell me- HOW LONG HAVE THESE PEOPLE BEEN SAILING TOGETHER. I nEEd To KnoW-

Camo Flare

crazy chip tells ollie they will go on a adventure and then procedes to go on a adventure without him

Oricalu448

Don't worry bizly, I also imagined the aether when the feywild was first mentioned.

Grimy Boi

I love the module not because of the module itself, but because of all the JRWI personality and fun and nonsense that adds so much more to an already good story.

Ponderhin

Like I'd think Grizzly was lazy if he did EVERY arc as a module. But one arc, out of all of them? It's been over a year since Riptide started and we have a mountain of evidence of his intellect and skill. It's also been one year of work for him so yeah, lightening the load and using a module for one arc out of a year is awesome and cool actually.

hal !!!

is this not getting uploaded onto itunes for anyone else? im so sad that im not getting notifs or it uploaded so i can download and listen T-T

Keyia

I really hope that, out of all the crew, Griffin goes off and surveys the ship repairs and actually gets them some weapons. Meanwhile, everyone else is building the Limepire.

Squash

Where is just rolled with it for episode 73?

Louis Escher

They do these after every 2 Episodes for JRWEEK because they actually play 2 Sessions every day

Keyia

But he also learned to speak/understand Celestial at the same time, which I'm pretty sure is not a wild magic effect, right? Also, I think Nik was doing that thing where someone avoids culpability by claiming indirect causation = lack of responsibility, essentially blaming Ollie for using the compass since he didn't deliberately curse him. Idk, that was just my interpretation of it.

Ryezun

The boi is the chosen one of the land no cap

You-topia

This Rolled feels like business
