I feel like if Goobleck is supposed to be giving the information to the characters, keeping the information he gives patreon exclusive would be a problem because then the majority of people probably won't get the context of stuff that happens and be confused. If it's not stuff the characters ever learn, villain backstories as a patreon bonus would be so cool as long as things make sense and are interesting without them.
