William isn’t what he thought he was. Can his friends help him come to terms with this?

GOD THAT HIT ME AS A TRANS WOMAN SO FUCKING HARD WORDSMITH OML

Titan Storm

In this episode of Prime Defenders... William has 18 panic attacks, Vincent trys to beat a dead guy, Dakota becomes a DILF, and Lè Frog is in a high speed chase with the all of Hillwood PD

Miranda Copple

I think Travelers from the Outer Wilds OST

nefarious bees

I KNEW THEY WERE GOING TO DO THAT FUCK OFFFFFF

Crab Crafting

William rolling a 10 did irreparable damage to me

Iris

this is an extremely old comment but as an outer wilds ost lover i must share that it is indeed Space from the Outer Wilds soundtrack

Grey Martinez

We were so close to Charlie having kissed both Condi, and Grizzly's characters at least once in just roll with it history😭😭😭 The dice was against it😭😭😭

ratnog

Charlie you're fuckin killing me here man

Jottys

Yo i love that Lovejoy song

Hemo_Goblin_

The fucking intro got me, thought I accidentally called someone…😑

EmberAnimates

Oh dear god that’s a worrying description, can’t wait to get caught up on pd and see how this goes down hill

thee_birdo

if tide doesn't appear this episode then we wouldn't have had him for a full year...

Parsuna

Yo, I love DQ9, I would play it all the time when I got my DS about 9 years ago. Since I was a kid I could never make past a certain point in the game so whenever I got stuck I would just restart from the beginning. I plan to actually play it in it's entirety once I'm done with DQ11

ThreeLeaves

PLEASE JUST KISS ALREADY I'M BEGGING YOU

jatthew

i love gay people

Lorus

The betting actually killed me. The scene was amazing but Dakota betting against Alan and then X and Cantrip joining in just pushed me over the edge

Archer Sullivan

i can't believe charlie invented gay people

Snailer

The Bisexual Disaster Energy radiating off this episode is incredible

Cheshire

My running theory "Charlie cannot physically play a completely straight character" has gained so much evidence.

Hey It’s Zoe

As someone who needs an inhaler I’m super fucked

Ghostwise

Maan I liked this episode a lot. Like they said in the rolled, this was like the first episode where it felt like william's problems weren't just a bit. The idea of being physically unable to touch the world around you or feel a hand on your shoulder is so unsettling lol. Like the idea of it gives me that anxiety tension in my chest, and I can imagine how distant and scary that would be. Really well done :) I liked that this episode was slower paced too. It gave more room for character interactions and just kind of getting comfortable in the world again, which I feel like was needed for sure. I'm excited to see all of the characters bend a little around each other's ideals in the future (hopefully) too. Also le frog was there.

BonezMcCann

I honestly thought Wormy was somehow driving the van

BonezMcCann

The cute little sentient worm on a string that they left in the van with Bobo before jumping into another dimension

BonezMcCann

Le Frog's new partner in crime

Spookyboob

Yknow, I didnt think the title was gonna be as literal as it was

walfie

I hit play and for some reason thought it was my phone 🤣

R.

I actually have a dnd necromancer in dnd beyond just sittin there waitin to be used one day that i have kinda based off of william. And also he is decaying because he had turned himself into a lich and was rotting. If i ever get to play him he was gonna use disguise self and some magic that wouldve made him look like a normal human. But over a campain i wouldve slowly hinted at him being undead.

Hey It’s Zoe

I like that they didn’t actually kiss. I love the slow burn and drawing it out

Cube Assassin

I swear le frog is gonna become a scary villain, and I love him So I hope not

Ace Hutson

Oh my goodness oh my damn oh my goodness, they goin ham

Keyia

Charlie was really one roll way from having kissed at least one of each player's characters, but I suppose consent does come first

EmberAnimates

William’s “and you’re here too” is the closest I’ve ever gotten to crying over a JRWI scene so I congratulate you all on that

EmberAnimates

Anyways WOOOO FINALLY CAUGHT UP ON PD, IM FEELING SO MANY EMOTIONS™️

Bebop_Babe

Someone PLEASE identify the song that plays at the end. Is it from the Outer Wilds OST because it serious sounds like it and its driving me CRAZY

Gunkymunkyspunk

I think one way you could rationalize why William’s clothes don’t just fall of could be that he passively uses ghost shaping to make a coating that wraps around all of his clothes and personal items. The ghost barriers would selectively allow everything but other ghost items/people to pass through. Not sure how this would explain how his phone and stuff would go intangible with him, but I think it can explain how he was able to do stuff like call his brother without his phone falling through his hand.

Bean Martin

Seriously, we need Tide back. At this rate, the PD are going to forget what beef stroganof tastes like, and we can't let that happen.

Bean Martin

I just want us to see him in little snippets in the background like this, and throughout the whole rest of the campaign we just watch him slowly become actually powerful and start gradually acting cool and becoming kind of popular. So that somehow in the very end he has become well known not as a meme but like a celebrity, and he ends up becoming a hero or like a villain but tumblr loves him, and the PD are just like "how did we let this happen"

Bean Martin

I was thinking of it like, everything on him went intangible with him, so he can interact with his phone and his clothes, but no one else can. Which is why people's hands just woosh completely through when they try to touch his arm or something, instead of just hitting what feels like an empty sleeve. (And maybe the rationale behind it is that he identifies the things on him as part of himself? Like, the whole, "if your finger gets cut off, which part is 'you,' the finger or the rest of your body?" It's all a matter of perception what is part of 'you' so maybe that could include his stuff?)

BambiiTree

GUYSSS does anyone know what song was playing while will and vincent had their almost kiss?

EmberAnimates

You implying if Le Frog was real he’d be a Tumblr Sexyman?

Miles

goddamn, broke my heart with the intro alone
