man I love this campaign so much. I can feel all the thought + effort that goes into all of these characters, and I feel like grizzly has been focusing so hard on worldbuilding recently and it totally shows. Now that we're back on the boat and the crew is back together I'm fuckin jazzed to see what's gonna happen from here on out lol. Also I feel like Niklaus might actually not be that bad in the end. Maybe I'm just being optimistic lol but I really want him to end up actually being an antihero who saves the day.

Really liked what Griz did with this episode, honestly having Filipe so dead set on staying with the crew last episode didn't sit right with me (as a character choice it felt really selfish), so seeing him cut the line in this episode brought some nice depth to him. Also, I used to think that Niklaus hatched from the egg thingy in the Black Rose oneshot, but now I'm not so sure...

Imma be honest, chip is high key abused by his friends. I get that grizzly loves his people and all, but chip has done good deed after good deed with few and far pranks in between. He's the only one who has no family left but his crew and they lock him in a fucking ice arena, like what the fuvk

Chip is kinda the guy who looks beyond the emotion of a situation and looks at the facts. Jay and Gillian let their emotions and others emotions affect their judgement more. Not a bad thing, but differing world views. I suppose the former can just seem colder at times.

I love Felipe (as well as the grung race as a whole), so this development is breaking my heart. I'm holdin out for hope that they can fix this somehow but the deck of many things is a powerful artifact. I just feel so bad for Felipe, being torn between his love for the homies and his arcane hatred.

Alright so here's the thing about them saying freeing Gillion is the first selfless thing chip has done. Chip saved the dead people on Grimm's island at the cost of himself suffering from the curse he got, but instead of being told he did good gillion made fun of the situation by saying things like "and now you'll suffer longer, huh chip?" (Of course gill didn't mean to make fun of chip in character but charlie did and that still hurts) And chip stood there in horror while everyone was happy and no one saw that, which furthers me feeling awful for chip almost every session since he has done good things but LITERALLY NO ONE AFFIRMS IT AT ALL EVERY TIME. like he tries so hard to be sweet and help but him freeing gill from the pearl is the first time he did something selfless like what the hell, why my boy gotta suffer man.
