This was one of the best episodes in my opinion, especially because the roleplay between Wave Lenght and Dakota.

Sorry for loving wavelength so much /j Fr though i really love love love how Dakota interacted with Mark and it was better than i ever could've hoped for. Bizly, Mark is amazing and there's no way for you to play him wrong because he's your character king, not the fandoms (as much as we adore him) Only time the fandom I'd ever gonna get defensive about Mark is if the players don't like him so don't worry LMAO or do. /j /j /j Anyways, amazing episode, amazing acting and story writing, fuck William Wisp and Charlie Slimecicle /j

This is definitely my favorite episode as of recent, I loved the contrast of the entire atmosphere of the session and honestly I can’t wait for the next installment of this story. I also cant wait for the MARK WINTERS REDEMPTION AAAARC (hopefully) LETS GOOOOOOOOO. Also I love scary Will.

You are a very skilled role player, and from what I’ve seen of the campaigns, your fight with wavelength is genuinely one of my favorite RP moments from you. Im ngl, im kinda hopping this sticks with william and may eventually lead to some major consiquences, perhaps even him leaveing the group, as it makes sence for such a big hero after an event like this to perhaps not recover and retire.

I also think that if this path for william does lead to him getting estranged or seperated from the group, it might make him vulnerable enough that Mal finally gets the opportunity to manipulate him like he’s been trying to alllll this time, which would be SUPER interesting to see

Dakotas speech was definitely my favorite part “I’ll show you a better way to be a hero, be a person, and you’ve gotta prove the other, be the father he deserves” gave me total chills. Huge props to the Ginormous G

I hope the William stuff isn't just pushed to the side because the stuff he's done just feels so wrong on so many different levels, I'm also happy that it seems like mark is possibly on the way to a redemption arc and that would make me very happy because I've really been hoping he gets one

Dakota was not cringe at all it’s just he can’t see Marks point of view and neither can Mark see his, they both brick walls but they finally starting to come down and I can’t wait to see Dakota save Wavelendth and make him good

The William sequence was amazing, it felt like William was going all out for once and showing how powerful they truly are when they ahve to be. I hope scary William stays and becomes I kinda anti villain. Those blood in the bayou dminh skills came out when it was being described it was great

I love this William arc man, he is fucking metal as hell and I’m here for it. Though real talk as much as I love the villain flavored morally grey shit, I don’t think I want to see William *actually* become a villain. I think this is all really compelling and I’m all for it having consequences, but I hope the story doesn’t overreact and ultimately end with Will getting kicked from the group. Unless he does more and more fucked up shit I don’t think it’s warranted. His actions *feel* very uncomfortable and wrong (and don’t get me wrong he’s not an angel here) but he’s just a confused kid trying to save as many people as he can. He’s got good intentions and he goes about it in a fucked up horror movie way, but that doesn’t make him evil. I could be proved wrong, but William just doesn’t strike me as evil at all. I think, for a lot of people, the most off-putting about all this is how terrifying William is being about it, not the moral choices themselves. But Charlie pointed out how scaring people doesn’t feel super wrong to William the same way it does to us since horror is just a fact of life for him. He doesn’t deserve to lose his friends over that.

William was awesome!! Can’t wait for next ep where he gets more awesome 4 sure :D I do hope it causes a conflict in the group, but not enough that William leaves. Consequences are cool and all but Wiwi going to jail feels like an arc I wouldn’t really wanna see tbh, neither him permanently fracturing the group like Charlie said (but maybe just changing the group dynamic wouldn’t be so bad?) I doubt his friends would turn him in anyways, esp since Dakota sees the good in complex/conflicted people more. I also do believe that William can justify his actions to them. After all, neither of them really saw what happened yk. Whatever happens, excited to see what happens next, esp with William!!! (He just got a little silly) (I also hope William gets his wisps back!!! ‘Can’t wait to see how he dies’ feels like a messed up thing to say but like… yeah)

I’m down for William embracing his scary side but I honestly don’t think he’s like evil,, he’s a hero that doesn’t talk/act like cookie cutter superman. He is just a vigilante type that does whatever’s necessary. And William couldn’t even pull off the Dakota hero archetype Cus his powers suit manipulation more.

rly said exactly my thoughts fr, both with the group dynamc changing and wiwi getting his wisps back. Him getting them back would be very cool since i love the power concept but i also on the other hand definetly dont want it to be rushed or feel forced in any way just bc they happen to be so cool, its a fine line lmao(but lets be real the jrwi boys would make sure it fits into the story nicely). Also the smoke thing he got going on now is also sick af, the chainsaw does scare me a bit tho ngl hahah

Grizzly I feel you, I see everywhere people like Mark but I think in the Dakota way: Mark is a villain, and a genuinely bad and toxic person! I was waking home while listening to Mark's and Dakota's fight AND IT WAS SO HYPED AND GREAT!!! Dakota said a lot of right and important things, and Mark is just sad and stuck on his own thoughts.

I am evil William's number one fan; I've always found his struggle to align himself fully with the heroes and general outcast perspective very compelling as part of the prime defenders' dynamic as a whole. I loved him leaning into his spooky past as well as the obvious desire to connect with his brother. Very excited for what his moral failings mean for the rest of the story!!

I dont think anyone is cringe, but i don’t enjoy seeing Dakota talk to Mark. Im absolutely not saying to stop having these confrontations because we cant have prime defenders without these two characters butting heads, but every time its the same thing. Its just two brick walls arguing and when someone brings something new to the argument it feels out of pocket because its not what they have been shouting for the past 10 minutes. (Thats how i feel at least) Anyways, i love you guys and PD as a whole, keep up the good work

I love the dynamic between Mark and Kota, it’s like my favorite thing. Dakota is such a special character in my heart and seeing him just yell and tell people the way he sees things at his age.I really love that him and Mark feel so fuckin real also think William being morally grey is also my favorite- it is a means to an end with William to protect people in his own special way and save as many people in the end as well.

I noticed that it’s become a spectrum between the 3 of them. Dakota is a full hero and always follows that and won’t ever change. William is becoming more villainous and evil, it’s so good I love it. Lastly Vincent has always been in the middle, he never associated with both and is in the morally grey zone

As much as I don't think X deserved to be tormented, his hypocrisy hit a nerve in me. He seemed so pissed thinking his friends were going to die, but after seeing them alive he instantly threatened Tide? "Big win for Beltec" when Will said he was trying to save people?? Literally KILLING a guy??? He could do with some humility at least, so I hope the nightmarenightmare actually changes something for him.

What I loved the most about William in the episode was how clearly he'd made an immensely powerful and terrifying puller-of-strings or mastermind. X never stood a fucking chance, William has never been that efficient ever and it was terrifying seeing him make use of absolutely everything in his arsenal.

Two, I adore William's choices in this situation. No, they aren't right, in any sense of the word, but they are perfect for him and where he's been going the entire time since the break. This is just a boy, constantly dealing with issues he can barely comprehend, with his entire sense of reality and morality in question at all times, faced with a problem that just kept escalating out of his control. Letting David finish his procedure was probably the most right decision he made, to have the best chance of saving Alan's life, but even chasing down the other two as desperately as he did is the only thing I can imagine him doing. He's under incredible stress, he's scared, he's embarrassed, and he already feels like he's failed as a hero. And Charlie has been conveying it BEAUTIFULLY.

I know What Ifs aren't much of a thing anymore but I'd love to see one where everybody rotates their characters around, so like Bizzly would be Jay and Condi Gillion etc. I think it'd be interesting to see your guys take on these characters that you don't normally play

I loved William in this episode and while some of his actions were questionable on the moral side of things I wouldn't go as far as to call him a villain yet. He was just really scary and stressed and angry. Plus he didn't kill anyone. But I am curious to see what the consequences of his actions will be especially if mal or someone else ends up being the one who tells Dakota what happened. Wiwi horror arc gonna get really interesting.

I absolutely loved this episode, and the duality of it - Dakota maturing and departing from his black-and-white view and agreeing to work with Wavelength, while William, like Wavelength, did what had to be done. It was so awesome to see William be completely in control, X didn’t really stand a chance and once he killed that guard and threatened Tide…I’m not sure he deserved mercy.
