ok so flow is insane thats a really cool power. i swear every new hero that gets introduced gives me ideas for my own mnm character hehe. ALSO the trickster is such a cool villain idea, and im definitely so excited to see where this goes. (oh and cant forget le frog <3)

Ok I have a character theory (well its more of a direction) but if Charlie wants to steal this idea for William I'd be honored. I look at William like a scuffed anti hero version of Aang in ATLA. I want him to call upon the wisps and maybe reconcile with them, but when he like prays or calls or whatever but when they show up they're in the form of himself at first but then they morph into either Clarence or just whoever the last wisperer was taking this cool wispy blue ethereal manifestation of his responsibilities.

Because like Aang does in the show, William has ran from this duty that's been placed on him just bc he was born. Which is exactly Aangs struggle throughout the show. I think that would be very sick if he just takes the mantle of spirit world maintainer.

I feel like plans never work in D&D cause it's a rule of storytelling that plans can never work as soon as the audience knows them and that kinda applies to D&D with the players being an audience of sorts, cause it's not interesting to play if nothing interesting happens but it doesn't feel great if nothing goes right either

I have actually been hoping for William to become the wisperer again for a while, and i think him dying during the final fight with the trickster in the woods where he first died would be a great way to narratively introduce that. just saying :)

Humm, with the events from this episode I would say my theory went from possible to probable because of how the trickster’s reaction to Vincent.

I imagine the spooky wolves as like the werewolves from The Quarry but like, slightly more wolflike than humanoid, which makes the cave situation a lot scarier in my head

if Flo can literally like, take peoples thoughts then it’d be fucking sick if they used that to talk to the trickster. like it was mentioned using a different hero or smth to be able to talk to him more clearly? but if flo could just move the chaos energy from the trickster into maybe one of the players temporarily and then the other two could actually have a conversation with him without him being batshit crazy that would be so fucking cool, i love the idea of her powers holy shit
