During the battle with Grimm, Gillion used Prophetic Screw-up on him and that was the time Gillion was able to connect with Destiny's blade. He slashed Grimm's head clean off, and as a result lost one of the two wishes that the oh so kind Grizzly was gonna give you. In the end, they chose to revive the dead dudes.

Before you changed how Prophetic Screwup there was plenty of funny stuff, cause it was just an auto nat 20 and grizz would pick a nat 1 for Gill later on. I still think the funniest thing Gill did early on with it was when he used prophetic screwup in episode 14 to throw Mr Daice,

shouldnt chip have a +18 to persuasion? if his proficiency is doubled from expertise and then added again from the deck wouldnt it be 15+3 from charisma? (grizz did mention being a hollowed one messed with charisma though so i suppose we'll see once the sheets get posted)

This is amazing Grizzly you did such a great job with this episode! Such a hard situation to DM and I think you handled it perfectly for this campaing. Nothing felt unrealistic for the world and the characters in it. Good job!

also charlie mentioning making just another triton character related to gillion reminded me of a character i made awhile back for a pirate campaign named Pike Wavebreaker who i think i made related through one of grandpeepaw Finn's many lovers. i realise now it would have been fun making him as a Sorlock instead of a Sorcadin like Gillion but i did have a good time dropping an enlarged anvil onto a flying airship and it being almost entirely taken out hitpoint wise so that was fun

I genuinely do think the reworked screwup never worked, it "working" was you guys remembering the time before they reworked it, with charlie being able to call a nat 20 and grizz being able to give him a nat 1 on a roll of his choice (which he never did). The reworked screwup has legit NEVER worked in the like 60 or 70 episodes it existed until now

How else do you react? Especially as Gillion, for him he values (innocent) life far above anything else, so seeing Chip give that up made him more proud than anything else. Yeah, it sucks for Chip, but what could Gillian do about that? What else could he say? I mean, Gillion isn't a character that's too savvy on expressing his emotions in general. He likely did feel some sort of worry over Chip's condition, but I imagine he hid that. If not for Chip, then for himself.

I was pretty worried for this session considering how hopeless the situation seemed but grizz did an INCREDIBLE job under all this pressure. You could cut the tension with a knife the entire episode god DAMN. Ripping chip’s heart out a couple minutes in was genius, and then turning him undead and putting him at risk of being gooped was such a cool and compelling consequence. Very excited to see where that goes. There were some genuinely really funny moments too, gillion hitting himself in the head with his sword and widow letting out the most normal ass little snicker was hilarious to me for some reason. Not even a villainous or mocking “Hahaha,” just the kind of chuckle-snort you let out after seeing a silly little video where someone slips and falls in a funny way

Yeah, the prophetic screw-up didn’t work like it does now when y’all fought those bugs, back then, the feat had it that charlie could basically make a roll a nat20 however, grizzly could make any other roll a nat 1. The only time that the revised Prophetic Screw-up worked was when gillian was crushing fruit with his feet for one of earl’s juices.

I personally liked the old Prophetic Screw-up, just for those moments when Charlie tries to do something and Grizz smiles mischievously and Charlie screams "NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!" It felt very much like karma aimed at Gill and it was so funny for his character.

This has definitely been my favorite episode so far, that and the one where Gillians skin gets stolen on the nave base, it feels like the characters are winning at a cost because of their actions, they were rewarded for being smart after they caused the insane situation but are still receiving major consequences, for example chip being dead Also, don't know if anyone's gonna see this, but did they post rollers for the episodes after this and I just can't see them?

I mean. No. It worked vs. Captain Tastrius' undead crew and one other time I kinda forget. Maybe vs. Grimm? Or maybe Charlie just rolled a natural 20 but he did 79 in one fucking hit. Was insane. And then did another 34 a total of 113 damage in one turn which was fucking crazy.
