Can't wait for season 2 - seasons 2-4 of Archer are some of my favorite seasons of TV period.

Season 2 is where the characters really find their identities and the self-referential jokes really start to pile up.

Lots of great callbacks to the season in this ep. When Archer's tied up, you see the scar in his foot where Lana shot him, twice. The German kidnapper woman is wearing an Excelsior t-shirt (the name of the blimp company) when they abduct Archer. The guy with the cane whose first in line to purportedly sleep with Lana is Brett, the guy that Archer has accidentally shot, twice, in earlier episodes. And so on.

Can't wait until season five. Controversial, but count me on the side of those who say it's the best of the series. Brilliant

It probably would have been better for the show overall if that season was worse - without spoiling much, that season being pretty decent convinced them they should radically remake the show every season, and that was the only time it worked.
