I'm so sorry guys! Best of luck. Can you call a sparky? (did I use that right?)

Will

Dea(n) you bitch! Jk 😂

Paul B

That's ok. TV rots your brain. Maybe you can just have slap fights instead?

LookingForOwls

Luckily TVs are dirt cheap today compared to any other point in their history. A quick google for "1080p 55 inch tv" brought up 5 under 100$.

This same thing happened to me about two weeks ago. Probably not worth it to try to fix; just get a new one. As somebody else commented above/below, TVs are dirt cheap these days.

That could be a simple firmware issue, as it looks like it may be lighting all the LEDs inside initially, then struggles afterwards... Also the rebooting side of it. What's the make and model? Happy to see if I can find a guide to assist with it 🤗

For context: I used to work as a Kogan customer support rep, so I dealt with issues like this for at least 3 years haha. No guarantees: could be the main board needs replacing or there's a fault with the lights that forces it to restart, but if we can clear out any software or basic problems first, we can at least then move onto repair or replacement ideas

JB Die-Kasten

Under $100 for a 55inch? Never seen them quite that cheap in Australia yet, best I got for a tv that size recently was around 200 or 250.

Bummer about the TV. It's weird to see other angles of the recording room.

There’s a couple of services where you can let us pitch in lol you could set up a page and be like hey throw in a buck for the new TV lol sorry to see it do with my TV did a few years ago. What’s your folks plan for that? You need to get a TV that can handle archer

Jordan Patrick

Seriously, you rock just for the advice lol

fredfinks

Samsung S95F OLED 83" or S90F for a bit cheaper :) TREAT YO SELF!

Paul B

Obviously when you guys get the tv thing worked out, Arrested Development will be your first drop--because, you know, it's, like, totally my favorite.

themoviejourney

Thanks Jordan, but we all know nothing can handle Archer...

themoviejourney

Thanks heaps for the input Sean. Samsung was able to send a tech guy out the next day who immediately told me the screen was stuffed and don't make the part anymore. Now praying Samsung will come back to me with reimbursement in some form.

themoviejourney

Whilst this may be true, I tend to go for the 4k OLED TVs. The picture quality is unmatched, as is the price point

themoviejourney

Hendo would not survive a quality bitch slapping from me

Paul B

That's not what he said 🥱 He laughed and said you have the upper body strength of a 14 year old girl. 😁

LookingForOwls

This is already a page where we pay them thousands of dollars every month.
