Not sure if it was requested but I feel like the What We Do in the Shadows movie from 2014 would be appropriate now that you're going to watch the show.

Master Of None is more of a dry comedy drama, it's quite interesting.

Haven't seen They Came Together but Im 99% sure I have the DVD in my lounge room. Rashida Jones and Andy Samberg star as the couple I think

They Came Together stars Paul Rudd an Amy Poehler. It's a satire of romantic comedies.

Danger game against the Doggies. We might be getting ahead of ourselves after last week (but hopefully not!) I give The Shrink Next Door 5 stars, surprised you haven't seen / heard of it.

Match Point is my favorite Woody Allen film.

Lots of great movies going on the list! Heretic is great, glad that got mentioned. My experience with Total Recall was exactly the same as yours and I still think it's worth a full watch, especially if you saw it when you were younger and might have missed some of the subtext. I feel like our rankings of the American Pie and View Askewniverse line up pretty well, though I was surprised you mentioned not having seen any of Kevin Smith's other films. People seem to either love or hate Tusk, I'm firmly in the pro-Tusk camp. It's not a perfect movie and it drags a little in the second half, but that film elicited emotions and fears in me that I didn't even know I had. I recommend it with the caveat of knowing that it's a dark comedy as much as it is a horror film.

Dick Tracy

That’s excellent. I’d also suggest Crimes & Misdemeanors or some of his “early funny” ones

Dick Tracy

A few classic films worth watching: Bridge on the River Kwai (1957), The Hill (1965) with Sean Connery, & The Longest Yard (1974) with Burt Reynolds.

Thanks for breaking down some of what you have and haven’t seen. Ill give a couple for each that were a bit vague: Soderbergh: Black Bag Ocean’s twelve Woody: Blue Jasmine Sweet and Lowdown Trey Edward Shults: It Comes at Night Waves Farrelly’s: You failed to mention There’s Something about Mary, I’m sure you’ve seen it, but it is a great re-watch The Heartbreak Kid is another one they did with Stiller if you haven’t seen it

Dick Tracy

The original Heartbreak Kid is wonderful

Oh wow, which movie was I thinking of? there's definitely a similar one with Rashida, dang gotta Google that now EDIT -- Celeste and Jesse Forever. There we go.

Coherence & Hobo with a Shotgun. Both better the less you know going in
