Polls have worked surprisingly well from what I've seen. Giving people a choice between characters usually gets more interaction than a regular post.

Adult Anya Briar and Yor Forger Nah I'm just kidding, that guy is a weirdo loser. Consistency is the best way to build a good foundation. The secret for this is scheduling content ahead of time to enforce a standard schedule. Every Sunday has a slingshot set, every Thursday has a furry set or whatever. You could ask folks to like the post to see more of that character. If you want to artificially inflate your metrics, you can give a free small commission/image request to anyone who likes all your posts. I like to do monthly character polls suggested by Patrons. They choose the theme and the characters. Those are usually my highest engaged posts. I hope something here helps!

Tbh I think maybe focusing on a niche fetish, character, or series might work pretty well. Like I see Spicygoblins has pretty good interactions and futagenn for example always has the most interactions when its naruto characters.

I just had an interesting idea. Why not do a monthly comic where the community sensally writes it like maybe you give each person a paragraph that they could write out and then you draw based on the first 10 paragraphs like maybe you give each person a paragraph that they could write out and then you draw based on the first 10 paragraph obviously you can modify it however you see fit but it a collab with your community oh and maybe you set the deadline of 12 hours or 6 hours? Something like that? Maybe you pick the characters you want us to role-play as for lack of a better term
