Wrapped up a whopper of a scene earlier today and I'm quite happy with how it turned out (hence the Shawshank reference with the title image).

Numbers: Up to 1132 renders on the chapter and added 22 animations (2 main animations with pacing and angle variants, and six expression variants for the animation worked last month).

All the animation commissions for the first half of the chapter are done, and there's two main animations left to render out with expression, pacing, and angle variants.  There's probably 250ish static renders left to do before I hit the halfway mark in the current script for the chapter.

Got the initial implementation of the synced animation change code done the day after the last progress update.  Ren'Py has the capabilities I needed, just took a little time to comb through the API to find them.  It's working pretty well so far, but about a quarter of the time the animation change doesn't seem to be well-matched frame-wise, so there's a little tweaking left to do after I wrap up the renders for the next release.

Speaking of the next release, I'm pretty sure I'll be releasing the chapter in two parts.  I'll have a more detailed post with a poll to see how folks feel about it, but unless the poll results are overwhelmingly in favor of the single release, I expect to move forward with the two release plan.

Thanks for the support and stay safe!

Looking forward to the next chapter whether it is in 2 parts or 1!
