'Cause you had a bad day. You're taking one down. You sing a sad song just to turn it around. Life is hard for a ten-year-old 😔

Mc is *not* having a good time 😭🙏

Lien Hua

This is too real—I’ve had a day exactly like this as a kid

ItaLii

Oh, I can only guess MC can run off to school instead of letting their mom drive them…and I would personally feel like I would do something similar as a kid myself and with MC. The drama is just peak for a kid who doesn’t have agency in the actions of their parents.

Eden the Axolotl hydrid

poor mc they are not having a good time but excited to play this part lol

Flightwings

I know I could just replay the moment and choose differently but my MC is usually an agreeable child so I usually don’t see moments like these! But I understand how Franky feels, I hope their day gets better… :(

locke 281

Ok now I really want to know what happened to MC, sounds exciting 😆

catstevens

there's nothing more thrilling as a child than being late to class and making a dramatic entrance

ִAsh ࣪ ִֶָ☾.

i swear to god my 10yo self would be sobbing bc that is just crappy

Theo (icon by Xianiyi on Twitter)

I think my MC is endlessly optimistic, and tries to deal with his mom being gone for work because he knows it's important. But I think this moment is going to break him, and everything he was shoving down is going to come out 😭😭😭

Sassy Velociraptor

the perfect cultivation for my MC who already makes a point of being miserable whenever he gets the chance 🙏

SweetGum

Oh guys, my protagonist already hates Golden Crove at this stage, he'll be devastated to take away his day off

Psykes

I don't know about how it'd be for other MCs, but mine would look like a miserably wet kitten with a scowl.... (upset at being wet) I wonder if the MC has gym clothes at the school to change into.

Alys Arya

This would break my positive outlook MC 😭

BakuSquadIdiot1

I can not wait for this to come out!!! So sad for Mc!

Blake Parker

My mc tries to be optimistic and supportive of Ma, but I have a feeling they're REALLY gonna need Tam and Qiu to get through this day 😭

Tavion Davis

My MC at this point is probably equivalent to the storm itself 😞. He went OFF on Opal for this (to make up for it my positive MC is a big Mama's boy 😄). I wonder how mad we'll be able to be tbh

Minty

MAN if it's raining this bad, then our mum's even MORE cruel for making us go in!

Anime Yay

Ah yes, the angst, now I hate you even more mother yay! XD

🫧 e g g i 🫧

😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 I LOVE IT BUT NOO O OO O O

Mint

nah nah nah nah nah, even as a child i had such bad anxiety that if I was LATE to ANYTHING I would just not go. my anxiety would not allow me to go anywhere late, nah nah nah nah nope, time to run away and live in the forest or hide in qiu's secret base

T Payne

....the song in the description just gave me so many flashbacks 😅.

Ghosty

Ohh my grumpy mc is going to be so PISSED!! They're not going to forget this one easily lol My optimistic Mc who loves their mother is just going to bury this and pretend everything is fine :)) this in no way will affect them lol Also i wonder if this is the moment where we will see Opal cry? Gimme that angst

Nev

Both my MC and I are not happy. First rain feels like Swiss cheese, gross. Secondly, I'm hiding somewhere cause I was told no school, and school on rainy day is so unfair. Maybe hide out in the library or bathroom. I may have to go to school but I'm not attending classes. Man............. I just hate rainy school days, even now when its rainy at work I always feel like calling out. Poor MC... Literally storming and lightning outside as I write this.

Junexzee

Nothing more embarrassing than being late AND soaked 💀 so excited to see where it goes from here!!

Lonewolf22493

GB plz, I need the angst. All this buildup is killing meeeee.

Jayden

so embarrassing having told them i’m not coming only to be late and soaking wet with all the eyes on me 🧍🏻

Nico Shaw

If I had the confidence at age 10, I would just not go into class because the embarrassment and drama would've surely caused my demise.

Sandra - Jayne Rumpel

Ah! I can't wait, I have a few different MCs with different personalities, including one who is a lot like Jeremy lol. He is angry at Opal every chance he gets (for moving out to that "stupid" town in the first place) and a bit of an a-hole to everyone else...mostly because I want to see how mean/grumpy a character can be and how far it ends up pushing the others. It does make me feel a little bad, given how nice young Qiu and Tamarack are, but sometimes the responses are unexpectedly hilarious.

Konoi Kurozora

I'm so insanely curious if we'll be able to actually skip school somehow, in that moment. Because yeah, I stand by the fact if you tell your kid they won't go to school that day, then you don't make them last minute, no matter what. Obviously, in the case your kid hates school, which is the case for my MC

Dani Morgan

No because this is really embarrassing! My MC is probably gonna hide in her shirt

Doc_Witch

Aw, like a little wet kitty
